1. Introduction

The ANYSECU G388 is a 4G Network Radio designed for global Push-to-Talk (PTT) communication. Utilizing an RTOS system, this device offers unlimited range communication over 4G networks. It supports dual SIM cards and features Type-C charging, along with a strong built-in flashlight. This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your G388 radio.

3. Product Features

• 4G Network Connectivity: Operates on 4G networks, supporting US Version FDD bands 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/66 and TDD bands 38/40/41 for broad coverage. Note: This device does not support 3G or 2G networks.

4. Setup

1. Charge the Battery: Before first use, fully charge the radio's battery using the provided Type-C power cable and adapter. Connect the cable to the radio's Type-C port and the adapter to a power outlet. The charging indicator will show the charging status.
2. Install SIM Card(s): Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the radio. Carefully insert one or two active 4G SIM cards into the designated SIM slots (refer to Image 3.1). Ensure the SIM cards are correctly oriented. Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3. Attach Belt Clip and Hand Strap: If desired, attach the belt clip to the back of the radio and secure the hand strap for convenient carrying.
4. Power On: Press and hold the power button (usually located on the side or top) until the screen illuminates and the radio powers on.

5. Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds to turn the radio on or off.
2. Adjust Volume: Use the dedicated volume control knob or buttons (refer to your radio's physical layout) to increase or decrease the audio output.
3. Push-to-Talk (PTT) Function: To transmit, press and hold the large PTT button on the side of the radio. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button to listen for incoming transmissions.
4. Group Selection: If your radio is configured for multiple talk groups, use the navigation buttons or menu options to select the desired group for communication.
5. Flashlight Operation: Locate the flashlight button (often a dedicated button or a function accessed via a menu). Press it once to turn the flashlight on, and press it again to turn it off.

6. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the radio's exterior. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
• Battery Care: Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures. If the radio will not be used for an extended period, store it with a partially charged battery.
• Storage: Store the radio in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
• Water Resistance: This device is Not Water Resistant. Avoid exposure to water or high humidity to prevent damage.

7. Troubleshooting

• Radio not powering on: Ensure the battery is fully charged and correctly installed.
• No network connection: Verify that your SIM card is active and has a 4G data plan. Check network coverage in your area. Ensure the SIM card is properly inserted.
• Cannot transmit or receive: Confirm you are in an area with 4G network coverage. Ensure the PTT button is pressed correctly for transmission and released for reception. Check if you are on the correct talk group.
• No GPS or Wi-Fi functionality: Please note that the ANYSECU G388 radio does not include GPS or Wi-Fi capabilities. These features are not supported by this device.
• No 3G/2G network support: This radio is designed exclusively for 4G networks and will not function on 3G or 2G networks.

The ANYSECU G388 radio comes with a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects under normal use.
