1. Introduction

The Shark Navigator Robot Vacuum AV2110S is designed to provide efficient and automated cleaning for your home. Featuring SmartPath Navigation, powerful suction, and a bagless self-empty base, this robot vacuum simplifies floor maintenance on both carpets and hard floors.

3. Setup

3.1 Charging Base Placement

Place the Self-Empty Base on a level surface against a wall in an area with a clear path for the robot. Ensure there are no obstacles within 3 feet (1 meter) on either side of the base and 5 feet (1.5 meters) in front of the base. Plug the base into a power outlet.

3.2 Initial Charge

Place the robot onto the charging base. The robot will automatically dock and begin charging. Allow the robot to fully charge before its first use. The battery indicator lights on the robot will illuminate to show charging status.

3.3 App Download and Setup

Download the SharkClean app from your mobile device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your robot to your home Wi-Fi network and begin the initial mapping process. The app allows for customized cleaning schedules, room selection, and no-go zones.

4. Operating the Robot Vacuum

4.1 SmartPath Navigation

The robot utilizes SmartPath Navigation with LiDAR technology to precisely map your home. It cleans in an organized row-by-row pattern, ensuring maximum coverage and efficiency. The robot detects and avoids objects in its path, adapting to changes in your home environment.

4.2 Cleaning Modes

  • Whole Home Clean: Initiates a full cleaning cycle of your mapped home.
  • Room Clean: Select specific rooms to clean via the SharkClean app.
  • Spot Clean: Direct the robot to clean a concentrated area.
  • Voice Control: Use voice commands through compatible smart home devices (e.g., Alexa, Google Assistant) to start, stop, or schedule cleaning.

4.3 Powerful Suction and Brushroll

The robot delivers powerful suction for effective cleaning on both carpets and hard floors. Its self-cleaning brushroll is designed to pick up debris, hair, and dirt from all surfaces, preventing hair wrap.

4.4 Recharge & Resume

If the robot's battery runs low during a cleaning cycle, it will automatically return to its base to recharge. Once sufficiently charged, it will resume cleaning from where it left off to complete the job.

5. Maintenance

5.1 Self-Empty Base

The bagless Self-Empty Base automatically empties the robot's dust bin after each cleaning session. It can hold up to 30 days of dirt and debris, reducing the frequency of manual emptying.

5.2 Emptying the Base Dust Bin

To empty the Self-Empty Base, press the release button on the side of the base to remove the dust bin. Dispose of the collected debris into a trash receptacle. Reinsert the dust bin until it clicks securely into place.

5.3 Cleaning the Brushroll and Side Brush

Regularly check the robot's self-cleaning brushroll for any tangled hair or debris. Use the cleaning tool provided to remove any obstructions. Inspect and clean the side brush as needed to ensure optimal performance.

5.4 Cleaning Filters

The robot is equipped with a Pre-Motor Filter. Refer to the SharkClean app or product manual for instructions on how to access and clean or replace the filter to maintain suction power.

6. Troubleshooting

If your robot encounters an issue, consult the SharkClean app for specific error messages and troubleshooting steps. Common issues may include:

  • Robot stuck: Clear any obstacles around the robot.
  • Poor suction: Check and clean the brushroll, filters, and dust bin.
  • Mapping errors: Re-map your home through the SharkClean app.
  • App connectivity issues: Ensure your Wi-Fi is stable and follow in-app connection guides.
