Switching Ball Sizes

The Flash Force features integrated 2-inch and 2-5/16-inch hitch balls. To switch between sizes:

  1. Ensure the ball mount is not under load.
  2. Rotate the dual hitch ball assembly 180 degrees to expose the desired ball size. The assembly is designed to rotate smoothly.
  3. Confirm the ball assembly is fully seated and locked in its rotated position before towing.

Stowing the Ball Mount

For secure storage and to prevent obstruction when not towing, the Flash Force can be rotated and stowed beneath your vehicle:

  1. Remove the two stainless steel adjustment pins.
  2. Rotate the entire ball mount assembly 180 degrees so that the ball end faces towards the front of the vehicle and the vertical shank is positioned horizontally underneath the receiver.
  3. Slide the assembly into the receiver until the pin holes align for the stowage position.
  4. Reinsert the two stainless steel adjustment pins to lock the ball mount in its stowed position. This also acts as an anti-theft feature.
