1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the PopSockets MagSafe PopGrip, Model 260027. This accessory is designed to attach magnetically to MagSafe-compatible phone cases, offering a secure grip and stand functionality. It features a swappable top design, allowing for personalization.

2. What's in the Box

The PopGrip MagSafe package includes the following components:

• 1x Magnetic Adapter Ring

3. Setup and Installation

3.1 Attaching the PopGrip to a MagSafe-Compatible Case

The PopSockets MagSafe PopGrip is designed for direct use with MagSafe-compatible phone cases. No additional adhesive is required.

1. Ensure your phone case is clean and free of debris.
2. Align the PopGrip with the MagSafe ring on the back of your phone case.
3. The magnets will securely snap the PopGrip into place.

3.2 Using the Magnetic Adapter Ring (for Non-MagSafe Cases)

If your phone case is not MagSafe-compatible, use the included magnetic adapter ring to enable MagSafe functionality. A phone case is required for this product.

1. Clean the back of your phone case thoroughly with an alcohol wipe and let it dry completely.
2. Peel the adhesive backing from the magnetic adapter ring.
3. Carefully center the adapter ring on the back of your phone case. Ensure it is positioned correctly before pressing down, as repositioning may reduce adhesive strength.
4. Press firmly on the adapter ring for 30 seconds to ensure a strong bond.
5. Once the adapter ring is installed, you can attach the PopGrip as described in Section 3.1.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Swapping the PopGrip Top

The PopGrip features a swappable top, allowing you to change designs easily.

1. To Remove: Close the PopGrip flat against its base. Twist the top 90 degrees counter-clockwise until you feel a click. Gently pull the top off.
2. To Attach: Align the new PopGrip top with the base. Push down and twist 90 degrees clockwise until it locks securely into place.

4.2 Magnetic Attachment and Detachment

The PopGrip can be easily attached and detached from your MagSafe-compatible phone case or adapter ring.

• To Attach: Simply align the PopGrip with the magnetic area on your case. The magnets will automatically connect.
• To Detach: Gently pull the PopGrip away from the phone case.

5. Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and proper function of your PopGrip MagSafe:

• Clean the PopGrip and your phone case with a soft, dry cloth.
• Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the product or its magnetic properties.
• Ensure the magnetic surfaces on both the PopGrip and your case/adapter ring are free of dust, dirt, or other debris for optimal attachment strength.

6. Troubleshooting

• Problem: PopGrip not attaching securely.
  Solution: Ensure your phone case is MagSafe-compatible or that the magnetic adapter ring is correctly installed and clean. Check for any debris between the PopGrip and the case/adapter ring that might interfere with the magnetic connection.
• Problem: PopGrip top is difficult to swap or remove.
  Solution: Ensure the PopGrip is fully closed flat against its base before attempting to twist and remove the top. Apply firm but gentle pressure when twisting counter-clockwise to unlock.
