1. Introduction
The coldSky Portable Misting Fan HY-8136C is designed to provide cooling comfort in various environments. 3. Setup
3.1 Charging the Fan
Before first use, fully charge the fan. Connect the provided USB charging cable to the fan's charging port and to a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The battery indicator lights on the control panel will show the charging progress. A full charge ensures optimal performance and runtime.
3.2 Filling the Water Tank
- Locate the water tank cap on the top of the fan.
- Open the cap and carefully pour clean water into the 360mL tank. Do not overfill.
- Close the water tank cap securely to prevent leaks.
For best misting performance, use distilled or purified water to prevent mineral buildup.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
Press the 'ON/OFF' button on the control panel or remote control to turn the fan on or off.
4.2 Adjusting Fan Speed
The fan offers 8 adjustable speeds. Use the 'SPEED+' and 'SPEED-' buttons on the remote control or rotate the knob on the control panel to select your desired airflow intensity.
4.3 Mist Modes
Press the 'MIST' button on the control panel or remote control to activate the mist function. There are two modes: continuous and intermittent. Press the button repeatedly to cycle through the modes or turn the mist off.

4.4 LED Lights
The fan features 3-color LED mood lighting (cool white, warm yellow, warm white) with customizable brightness. Press the 'LIGHT' button on the remote control or the light icon button on the control panel to cycle through the colors. Long press the light button to adjust brightness.

4.5 Oscillation and Rotation
The fan supports 90° automatic oscillation. Press the 'SWING' button on the remote control or the oscillation button on the control panel to activate or deactivate this feature. The fan head can also be manually rotated 270° for precise airflow direction.

4.6 Timer Function
Set the fan to automatically turn off after a specified period using the timer function. Available settings are 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, and 8 hours. Press the 'TIME' button on the remote control or the timer button on the control panel to select the desired duration.

4.7 Remote Control
The included remote control allows for convenient adjustment of all fan functions from a distance. Ensure the remote control has working batteries and is pointed towards the fan's receiver.

4.8 Phone Charging Function
The fan features a built-in USB port that can be used to charge your mobile phone or other small electronic devices. Connect your device's charging cable to the USB port on the fan.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning the Fan
Regularly clean the fan blades and exterior with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used. Ensure the fan is powered off and unplugged before cleaning. Do not immerse the fan in water.
5.2 Water Tank Care
To prevent mold or mineral buildup, empty and clean the water tank regularly, especially if not in use for extended periods. Use a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Allow the tank to air dry completely before refilling or storing.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Fan Not Turning On
- Ensure the fan is charged. Connect it to a power source and check the battery indicator.
- Verify the power button is pressed firmly.
6.2 Mist Function Not Working
- Check if the water tank is filled with water.
- Ensure the mist nozzle is not blocked. Clean if necessary.
- Confirm the mist mode is activated on the control panel or remote.
6.3 Remote Control Not Responding
- Check and replace the batteries in the remote control if needed.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the fan.
