1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the safe and effective use of your VGR Professional Hair Clippers and Trimmers Set, including models V-015 and V-994. Please read this manual thoroughly before first use and retain it for future reference.

4. Product Overview

The VGR Professional Hair Clippers and Trimmers Set includes two high-performance grooming tools:

4.1 VGR-015 Hair Clipper

The VGR-015 is designed for general hair cutting and features a powerful vector motor, DLC coated blades, and an adjustable taper lever for precise length control.

4.2 VGR-994 Hair Trimmer

The VGR-994 is ideal for detailed line-ups, crisp edges, and zero-gap trimming. It also features a high-performance vector motor and DLC T-blades.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Device

1. Place the clipper (VGR-015) or trimmer (VGR-994) onto its respective charging dock.
2. Connect the USB charging cable to the charging dock and a suitable USB power adapter (not included).
3. The indicator light on the device or dock will illuminate to show charging status.
4. Charge the VGR-015 for approximately 120 minutes for a full charge, providing 120 minutes of cordless operation.
5. Charge the VGR-994 for approximately 150 minutes for a full charge, providing 150 minutes of continuous use.

5.2 Attaching Guide Combs/Trimming Guards

1. Ensure the device is turned off before attaching or detaching any accessories.
2. For VGR-015 (Clipper): Select the desired magnetic guide comb. Align the comb with the blade and firmly attach it until it clicks into place.
3. For VGR-994 (Trimmer): Select the desired trimming guard. Align the guard with the blade and slide it on until it is securely fastened.
4. To remove, gently pull the comb/guard away from the blade.

5.3 Adjusting Taper Lever (VGR-015 only)

The VGR-015 clipper features an adjustable taper lever on the side. This lever allows for fine-tuning of cutting length between 0.8mm and 2mm without changing guide combs. Move the lever up for a shorter cut and down for a longer cut.

6. Operation

1. Ensure the device is fully charged and the desired guide comb or trimming guard is securely attached.
2. Press the power button to turn on the device.
3. For the VGR-015 clipper, adjust the taper lever to your desired cutting length.
4. Guide the clipper or trimmer over the desired area, moving against the natural direction of hair growth for an even cut.
5. Use smooth, overlapping strokes.
6. For detailed work with the VGR-994 trimmer, use the T-blade without a guard for sharp lines and edges.
7. After use, press the power button to turn off the device.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your VGR grooming tools.

7.1 Cleaning the Blades

1. Turn off the device and detach any guide combs or trimming guards.
2. Use the provided cleaning brush to remove loose hairs from the blades and the device body.
3. For a more thorough clean, you may carefully wipe the blades with a damp cloth (ensure the device is off and unplugged). Dry immediately.

7.2 Oiling the Blades

1. After cleaning, apply 1-2 drops of the provided lubricating oil to the blades.
2. Turn on the device for a few seconds to allow the oil to distribute evenly across the blades.
3. Wipe off any excess oil with a clean cloth.
4. Oiling helps maintain blade sharpness, reduces friction, and prevents rust.

7.3 Storage

Store the devices and all accessories in the provided travel case in a cool, dry place when not in use.
