Setup

1. Battery Installation

1. Ensure the timer is turned off.
2. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the timer.
3. Open the compartment and insert two 1.5V AA alkaline batteries (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-).
4. Securely close the battery compartment to maintain its waterproof seal.

2. Connecting to Faucet

The timer is designed for standard outdoor faucets. Use the provided accessories for a secure, leak-free connection.

1. Attach the timer to your outdoor faucet. Ensure the connection is tight to prevent leaks.
2. If your faucet size differs, use the included 3/4" NPT male to 1/2" NPT female hexagonal reduction bushing and thread sealing tape as needed.
3. Connect your garden hoses or irrigation system to the two outlets at the bottom of the timer.

Operating Instructions

The timer features a clear LCD display and intuitive buttons for programming. The main buttons are OK/SET, ESC/OFF, Manual, +, -, and DELAY.

1. Setting Current Time

1. Press the OK/SET button to enter programming mode. The current time will flash.
2. Use the + and - buttons to adjust the hour and minute.
3. Press OK/SET to confirm and move to the next setting.

2. Programming Watering Schedules (Zones 1 & 2)

The timer allows for independent programming of two zones.

1. Press the 1/2 ZONE button to select either Zone 1 or Zone 2. The selected zone indicator will light up.
2. Press OK/SET to begin programming for the selected zone.
3. Set Start Time: Use + and - to adjust the desired start time for watering. Press OK/SET to confirm.
4. Set How Long (Duration): Use + and - to set the watering duration (from 1 minute to 360 minutes). Press OK/SET to confirm.
5. Set How Often (Frequency): Use + and - to set the watering frequency (from 1 hour to 15 days). Press OK/SET to confirm.
6. Repeat steps for the other zone if desired.

3. Manual Watering

To water manually without interrupting your programmed schedule:

1. Press the Manual button.
2. Use + and - to set the desired manual watering duration (from 1 minute to 23 hours and 59 minutes).
3. Press OK/SET to start manual watering. The timer will automatically return to the programmed schedule after the manual watering is complete.

4. Rain Delay Function

The rain delay function allows you to pause your watering schedule for a set period, conserving water during rainy weather.

1. Press the DELAY button.
2. Use + and - to select the desired delay period (from 1 to 7 days).
3. Press OK/SET to activate the rain delay. The timer will automatically resume its programmed schedule after the delay period ends.

5. Child Lock

To prevent accidental changes to your programmed settings, the timer includes a child lock feature. Consult the device's on-screen prompts or specific button combinations (often a long press of two buttons simultaneously) to activate and deactivate this function.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Regularly inspect and clean the filter inside the brass inlet to prevent debris from clogging the timer. Use a soft brush and water to remove any buildup.

2. Battery Replacement

When the battery indicator on the LCD display shows low power, replace the batteries promptly. The timer features a low power auto-shutoff to prevent flooding if batteries run out during operation. Replacing batteries within 30 seconds will retain your programmed settings.

3. Winterization

Before the first frost, disconnect the timer from the faucet and hoses. Drain any remaining water from the unit and store it in a dry, frost-free location to prevent damage.
