4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning the Monitor

To clean the screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, dampen the cloth with a small amount of water or a non-abrasive screen cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the screen surface. For the monitor casing, use a soft, dry cloth.

4.2 General Care

Keep the monitor in a well-ventilated area. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight, high temperatures, or excessive humidity. Do not block the ventilation openings on the monitor. Disconnect the power cable during lightning storms or when the monitor will be unused for extended periods.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your monitor, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • No Power: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to both the monitor and the power outlet. Check if the power outlet is functioning.
  • No Signal: Verify that the video input cable (DisplayPort or HDMI) is correctly connected to both the monitor and your computer/device. Select the correct input source via the OSD menu.
  • Screen Tearing/Stuttering: Confirm that Adaptive Sync is enabled in both the monitor's OSD settings and your graphics card control panel.
  • No Sound from Monitor: This monitor does not feature built-in speakers. Ensure external speakers or headphones are connected to the monitor's 3.5mm audio output jack or directly to your computer. Check audio settings on your computer to ensure output is directed to the correct device.
  • Image Quality Issues: Adjust brightness, contrast, and color settings through the OSD menu. Ensure your computer's display resolution and refresh rate are set correctly for the monitor (3440x1440p at 200Hz).
