3. Measurement Guide

Accurate measurements are crucial for a perfect fit. Please follow these steps carefully:

3.1. Width Measurement

1. Measure the window opening width at the top, middle, and bottom.
2. Record the smallest of these three measurements.
3. For outside mount, add 1 to 6 inches to the recorded width for better light blockage.

3.2. Height Measurement

1. Measure the window opening height at the left, middle, and right.
2. Record the smallest of these three measurements.

3.3. Frame Depth (for Inside Mount)

• Measure the depth of your window frame.
• A minimum depth of 1.87 inches is required for inside mount.
• Consider any obstructions like handles or cranks and measure their depth to ensure the shade clears them.

4. Installation

Follow these steps to install your Graywind Smart Roller Shades:

1. Mark Drilling Positions: Ensure drilling positions are equidistant for balanced installation.
2. Drill Holes & Install Mounting Brackets: Drill pilot holes and insert wall anchors if necessary. Secure the mounting brackets with screws. Ensure the side with the slot faces the window, defining the back of the roller blind.
3. Install the Blind: Carefully place the roller shade into the installed brackets, ensuring it clicks securely into place.

5. Setup & App Control

Your Graywind Smart Roller Shades are designed for easy setup and control via the Motionblinds Bluetooth app:

1. Download the App: Download the Motionblinds Bluetooth app from your device's app store.
2. Scan Setup Code: Open the app and scan the setup code located on the motor of your shade.
3. Follow In-App Steps: Complete the pairing process by following the simple steps provided within the app.
4. Automate with Timers: Use the app to set customized schedules for opening and closing your shades.

6.1. App Control

As detailed in Section 5, use the Motionblinds Bluetooth app on your smartphone to precisely control the shades, set favorite positions, and schedule operations.

6.2. One-Pull Activation

The shades feature a convenient one-pull activation mechanism. A single pull of the chain will initiate movement (up or down, depending on the last operation). Another pull will stop the shade at your desired position. This manual control option is always available to override smart controls.
