Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Ensure the sander is switched off.
- Align the battery pack with the battery port on the sander.
- Slide the battery pack into the port until it clicks securely into place. Ensure it is fully seated to prevent accidental disconnection during operation.
- To remove the battery, press the release button (if present) and slide the battery out.
2. Sanding Sheet Attachment
- Ensure the sander is switched off and the battery is removed.
- Select the appropriate delta-shaped sanding sheet for your task. The included sheets are 80 grit (medium).
- Align the holes on the sanding sheet with the holes on the sanding pad for proper dust extraction.
- Press the sanding sheet firmly onto the hook-and-loop surface of the sanding pad. Ensure it is centered and securely attached.
- To remove, simply peel the sanding sheet off the pad.
Operating Instructions
1. General Usage
- After installing the battery and sanding sheet, hold the sander firmly with both hands.
- Position the sander flat on the workpiece surface.
- Press the ON/OFF switch to start the sander.
- Move the sander slowly and evenly across the surface. Apply light, consistent pressure. Avoid pressing too hard, as this can reduce efficiency and damage the workpiece or sander.
- The delta shape allows access to tight corners and edges. Utilize the pointed tip for precision work.
- When finished, lift the sander from the workpiece and press the ON/OFF switch to turn it off.
2. Tips for Effective Sanding
- Always sand with the grain of the wood for best results and to avoid scratches.
- Start with a coarser grit sandpaper if significant material removal is needed, then progress to finer grits for a smoother finish.
- Regularly check the sanding sheet for wear. A worn sheet will be less effective and can damage the surface.
- Ensure adequate ventilation in your work area to minimize dust inhalation.
