1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the assembly, operation, and maintenance of your SOFTSEA Full Size Loft Bed with Stairs and Desk, Model x28. Please read all instructions carefully before assembly and use to ensure safe and proper installation and longevity of your product.

The SOFTSEA Full Size Loft Bed is designed to maximize space, featuring an integrated desk, storage drawers, a cabinet, and a staircase with additional storage compartments. It is constructed from high-quality solid pine wood and MDF, providing a sturdy and functional sleeping and working solution.

2. Safety Information

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions could result in serious injury.

• Always follow the assembly instructions precisely. Ensure all fasteners are securely tightened before use and checked periodically.
• Do not allow children under 6 years of age on the upper bunk.
• The maximum weight capacity for the upper bunk is 400 lbs. Do not exceed this limit.
• Use only mattresses that are 6 inches thick for the upper bunk to ensure proper guardrail height.
• Ensure the bed is placed on a level surface.
• Do not attach or suspend anything from any part of the loft bed that is not designed for such use.
• Keep all small parts and packaging materials away from children during assembly.

3. Package Contents

Your SOFTSEA Full Size Loft Bed is shipped in multiple packages. Please ensure all packages have arrived before beginning assembly. In total, there are 3 packages, which may not arrive simultaneously.

Carefully unpack all components and verify against the parts list provided in your separate assembly guide. All necessary tools for assembly are included.

4. Setup and Assembly

Full assembly is required for this product. We recommend two adults for safe and efficient assembly.

1. Preparation: Clear a spacious area for assembly. Lay out all parts on a soft, clean surface to prevent scratches.
2. Identify Parts: Refer to the included assembly diagram and parts list to identify each component.
3. Follow Step-by-Step Instructions: Proceed with assembly according to the detailed, numbered steps in the separate assembly guide. Pay close attention to diagrams and fastener types.
4. Secure Fasteners: Ensure all bolts, screws, and connectors are tightened firmly. Do not overtighten to avoid damaging the wood.
5. Final Check: Once assembled, gently shake the bed to ensure stability. Re-tighten any loose connections if necessary.

5. Operating Instructions

This loft bed is designed for multi-functional use, providing a sleeping area, a workspace, and ample storage.

• Using the Upper Bunk: The full-size upper bunk is intended for sleeping. Always use a mattress with a maximum thickness of 6 inches to maintain the effectiveness of the guardrails. Access the bunk safely using the integrated staircase.
• Using the Desk: The L-shaped desk located beneath the bed provides a dedicated area for studying, working, or creative activities.
• Utilizing Storage:
  • Staircase Storage: Each step of the staircase features a pull-out drawer or compartment, ideal for storing clothes, books, or toys.
  • Under-Desk Drawers: Multiple drawers are integrated beneath the desk for organizing office supplies, personal items, or school materials.
  • Removable Bookcase/Shelves: The unit next to the desk includes open shelves and a larger drawer, suitable for books, decorative items, or storage bins. This unit can be adjusted or removed as needed.
