4. Setup Guide

Follow these steps to connect your DigitConvert DAC converter to your audio system:

  1. Connect Digital Audio Input: Connect your digital audio source (e.g., TV, PS4, Blu-ray Player) to the DAC converter's input using either a Toslink optical cable or a coaxial cable. Ensure the cable is securely connected to the corresponding SPDIF or COAXIAL input port on the converter.
  2. Connect Analog Audio Output: Connect the analog output of the DAC converter to your audio receiver, amplifier, or headphones.
    • For RCA L/R audio, use standard RCA cables (red and white) to connect the L/R output ports on the converter to your amplifier or stereo system.
    • For headphones, plug your 3.5mm headphones into the 3.5mm Jack output port on the converter.
  3. Power Connection: Connect the provided USB power cable to the DC 5V input port on the DAC converter. Plug the other end of the USB cable into a 5V 1A USB power adapter (not included) or a USB port on your TV/device that provides sufficient power. The power indicator light on the converter will illuminate when powered on.
  4. Configure Audio Output on Source Device: It is crucial to set your source device's (e.g., TV, game console) audio output format to PCM/LPCM. The converter does not support 5.1 channel Dolby sound or other compressed audio formats. Refer to your source device's manual for specific audio output settings.
