5.2 Helmet Installation

The KT1 offers two installation methods: clip mount and adhesive mount. Choose the method best suited for your helmet type and preference.

  2. Microphone Attachment: Choose either the boom microphone (for open-face or modular helmets) or the soft microphone (for full-face helmets). Connect the chosen microphone to the headset unit. Position the microphone close to your mouth for clear voice pickup. The angle can be freely adjusted.
  3. Headset Unit Mounting:
    • Clip Mount: Slide the mounting clip between the helmet shell and the inner padding on the left side of the helmet. Secure the KT1 unit onto the clip.
    • Adhesive Mount: Clean the surface on the left side of your helmet where you intend to mount the unit. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive mount pad and firmly press it onto the helmet. Attach the KT1 unit to the adhesive mount.
