The AOC 24G4 is a 24-inch (23.8" viewable) Full HD (1920x1080) IPS panel display, designed for an immersive gaming experience with a 180Hz refresh rate and 1ms MPRT response time. It features Adaptive-Sync technology for smooth gameplay and a 3-sided frameless design ideal for multi-monitor setups.

2. Safety Information
Please read all safety instructions carefully before using this product. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or damage to the monitor.
- Do not expose the monitor to rain or moisture.
- Do not open the monitor casing. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
- Ensure proper ventilation around the monitor. Do not block ventilation openings.
- Use only the power adapter supplied with the monitor.
- Place the monitor on a stable, level surface to prevent it from falling.
- Unplug the monitor from the power outlet during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.

4. Setup
4.1. Assembling the Stand
- Carefully remove the monitor and stand components from the packaging.
- Attach the stand neck to the monitor panel. Ensure it clicks securely into place.
- Attach the stand base to the stand neck. Tighten the captive screw at the bottom of the base.

4.2. Connecting the Monitor
Before making any connections, ensure both the monitor and your computer are powered off.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the monitor's power input, then plug the other end into a grounded electrical outlet.
- Video Connection: Choose one of the following options:
- HDMI: Connect one end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on your computer's graphics card and the other end to an HDMI port on the monitor.
- DisplayPort: Connect one end of the DisplayPort cable to the DisplayPort on your computer's graphics card and the other end to the DisplayPort on the monitor.
- Audio Connection (Optional): If you wish to use external speakers or headphones, connect them to the 3.5mm audio out jack on the monitor.

4.3. Initial Power On
- Power on your computer.
- Press the power button on the monitor. The power indicator light should illuminate.
- The monitor should automatically detect the input signal. If not, use the OSD menu to manually select the input source.
5. Operating the Monitor
5.1. On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu
The OSD menu allows you to adjust various settings of your monitor. The control buttons are typically located on the bottom right or rear of the monitor.
Common OSD Controls:
- Power Button: Turns the monitor on/off.
- Menu Button: Opens the OSD menu.
- Navigation Buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right): Used to navigate through menu options and adjust values.
- Exit Button: Exits the current menu or OSD.

5.2. Picture Settings
Adjust image quality settings to your preference:
- Brightness: Controls the overall luminance of the screen.
- Contrast: Adjusts the difference between light and dark areas.
- Color Temperature: Selects preset color temperatures (e.g., Warm, Cool, Normal) or custom RGB values.
- Game Mode: Pre-calibrated settings optimized for different game genres (e.g., FPS, RTS, Racing).
5.3. Gaming Features
- Adaptive-Sync: Enables variable refresh rate technology to eliminate screen tearing and stuttering. Ensure this is enabled in both the monitor OSD and your graphics card control panel.
- 1ms MPRT: Motion Picture Response Time reduces motion blur. This setting may be found under a "Overdrive" or "Response Time" option in the OSD.
- Low Input Lag: Reduces the delay between input and on-screen action. This is often automatically optimized when Game Mode is active.
5.4. Audio Settings
If you have connected external audio devices to the monitor's audio out port:
- Volume: Adjust the output volume.
- Mute: Mute or unmute the audio output.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning the Monitor
- Always unplug the monitor before cleaning.
- Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a mild, non-abrasive screen cleaner.
- Do not spray cleaner directly onto the screen.

7. Troubleshooting

7.2. Image is Blurry or Distorted

- Use a DisplayPort cable for optimal Adaptive-Sync performance.
