4. Operating Guidelines
4.1 Water Resistance
Your WeCool Fairwhale watch is rated for 3ATM (30 meters) water resistance. This means it is suitable for daily use and can withstand splashes, rain, and brief immersion in water, such as during handwashing. It is not suitable for showering, bathing, swimming, diving, or any water sports. Do not operate the crown or pushers when the watch is wet or submerged.

4.2 Luminous Display
The hands and markers on your watch are coated with a luminous material. For optimal glow in the dark, expose the watch dial to a bright light source (natural or artificial) for a few minutes. The intensity and duration of the glow will depend on the exposure time and light intensity.
5. Maintenance and Care
5.1 Cleaning Your Watch
- Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth regularly to remove dust and smudges.
- For stubborn dirt, slightly dampen the cloth with water and gently wipe. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
5.2 Leather Strap Care
- Avoid prolonged exposure of the leather strap to direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and moisture, as this can cause discoloration, drying, or cracking.
- If the strap gets wet, gently wipe it dry with a soft cloth and allow it to air dry naturally. Do not use artificial heat.
- Periodically clean the strap with a specialized leather cleaner and conditioner to maintain its flexibility and appearance.
5.3 Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by a quartz battery. When the watch stops or the second hand starts skipping, it indicates a low battery. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance integrity.
6. Troubleshooting
- Watch Not Running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If it is, the battery might be depleted and requires replacement.
- Time/Date Incorrect: Refer to Section 3.2 and 3.3 for instructions on how to correctly set the time and date.
- Chronograph Hands Not Resetting to Zero: If the chronograph hands do not return to their zero position after pressing the reset button, a minor adjustment may be needed. Consult a professional watch repair service.
- Condensation Inside Watch: If you notice condensation inside the watch, it indicates a breach in water resistance. Stop using the watch immediately and have it inspected by a professional to prevent further damage.
