4. Setup

4.1 Pre-Installation

Before starting, ensure you have the necessary tools: wire strippers, screwdriver, 1/4" blade screwdriver, and a ladder. Turn off power at the fuse box to avoid possible electrical shock.

4.2 Installation Instructions

Follow the detailed instructions provided in the manual. Ensure the mounting bracket is securely attached to the ceiling. For wood roofs, use wood screws. For cement roofs, use expansion screws and tighten with a wrench.

Carefully lift the fan assembly onto the mounting bracket. Rotate the fan until the notch on the downrod engages the ridge on the mounting bracket. Slide the remote receiver into the space above the downrod ball.

Connect the electrical wires: Earth wire (Green/Yellow), Neutral wire (White), Live wire (Black). Ensure all connections are secure with wire nuts.

Loosen the two screws on the bottom of the mounting bracket. Raise the canopy up and align the keyholes on the bottom of the canopy with the two screws. Rotate the canopy until both screws drop into the slot recesses. Slide the canopy cover up until it successfully attaches onto the canopy.

Attach the blades and blade arm ornament onto the blade arm, and secure with blade screws. Remove the three screws from the light kit plate and keep them for the next step.

Insert the light kit plate into the fan assembly and slide together, locking the screws loosened on the light kit plate. Then rotate it clockwise to secure.

The 36W LED light offers three color temperatures (3000K, 4500K, 6500K) and is dimmable. Cycle through the color temperatures by pressing the Light ON/OFF button repeatedly. Use the Dimmer Control buttons to adjust brightness.

5.3 Fan Speed and Direction

Use the Speed Control buttons to select one of the 6 available fan speeds. For optimal comfort, use 'Fan Forward' during warmer months to create a cooling breeze, and 'Fan Reverse' during colder months to circulate warm air trapped near the ceiling.

6. Maintenance

Regular cleaning of your ceiling fan will help maintain its appearance and performance. Always turn off the power before cleaning.

  • Cleaning: Use a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the finish. Do not use water or harsh detergents, as this could damage the motor or blades.
  • Blade Inspection: Periodically check that all blade screws are tight. Over time, they may loosen, causing the fan to wobble.
  • Motor: The DC motor is designed for quiet operation and requires no lubrication.

7. Troubleshooting

  • Fan does not start: Check that the power is turned on at the circuit breaker and wall switch. Ensure all wire connections are secure. Check remote control batteries.
  • Fan makes noise: Ensure all screws on the motor housing and blade attachments are tight. Check that the mounting bracket is securely installed.
  • Fan wobbles: Verify that all blade holders are tightened to the motor hub and that blades are securely attached to the blade holders. Ensure the mounting bracket is properly installed.
  • Light does not work: Check wire connections to the light kit. Ensure the light ON/OFF button on the remote is pressed.
