2. Attaching to a Paintball Marker

Align the feed neck of the Spire V loader with the feed port on your paintball marker. Securely attach the loader to the marker, ensuring a snug fit to prevent accidental detachment during play. Refer to your marker's manual for specific attachment instructions if necessary.

3. Loading Paintballs

The Spire V comes with a CrownSF III speed feed and a rain lid.

  • Using the Speed Feed: Gently push paintballs through the flexible fingers of the CrownSF III speed feed. The design allows for rapid reloading while minimizing spills.
  • Using the Rain Lid: For protection against elements, remove the speed feed and attach the included rain lid. Open the lid to load paintballs, then close it securely.

Operating Instructions

The VIRTUE Spire V operates automatically, utilizing dual sensor technology to ensure consistent paintball feeding.

  • Dual Sensor Technology: The loader combines accelerometer and infrared sensors. The accelerometer detects marker firing, while the infrared sensor monitors paintball presence in the feed stack. This combination ensures paintballs are fed proactively and reliably.
  • Proactive Feeding: When the marker fires, the loader's drive system activates, pushing paintballs into the feed neck. The flexible rubber fingers gently guide paintballs, preventing jams and minimizing breakage, even with brittle or imperfect paint.
  • Capacity: The Spire V holds up to 230 paintballs, providing ample capacity for extended play.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Spire V loader. The toolless design facilitates quick and easy cleaning.

  1. Disassembly: Open the hinged shell of the loader. The magnetic Spire drive can be easily removed for cleaning.
  2. Cleaning the Drive System: Carefully remove any paint residue, dirt, or debris from the drive system components and the flexible rubber fingers. Use a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, ensuring all parts are dry before reassembly.
  3. Cleaning the Feed Tray: The improved tray geometry is designed for easier cleaning. Wipe down the interior of the loader and the feed tray to remove any paint or shell fragments.
  4. Battery Check: Periodically check the batteries. Replace them when performance degrades or if the loader does not power on.
  5. Reassembly: Reinsert the drive system and close the hinged shell, ensuring it clicks securely into place.
