Loop Recording & G-Sensor

The dash cam features continuous loop recording. When the TF card reaches its capacity, the oldest footage is automatically overwritten by new recordings. The integrated G-sensor detects sudden impacts or collisions, automatically locking the current video file to prevent it from being overwritten, ensuring critical event footage is preserved.

5. Maintenance

To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your KBSYNT 4K Front Dash Cam, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Regular Cleaning: Gently wipe the camera lens and the dash cam body with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and smudges. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • SD Card Management: Periodically format the TF card (at least once a month) to maintain its performance and prevent data corruption. Back up any important footage before formatting.
  • Firmware Updates: Check the official KBSYNT website or the Fuvymyt app for any available firmware updates. Keeping your dash cam's firmware up-to-date ensures you have the latest features and bug fixes.
  • Temperature Control: Avoid exposing the dash cam to extreme temperatures for extended periods. If your vehicle is parked in direct sunlight, consider using a sunshade.
  • Cable Inspection: Regularly inspect all cables and connections for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure they are securely plugged in.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your KBSYNT 4K Front Dash Cam, please refer to the following common solutions:

Common Issues and Solutions

  • Dash Cam Not Turning On: Ensure the Y-type cable is correctly connected to the power supply. Check your vehicle's fuse box if necessary.
  • Wi-Fi Connection Issues: Make sure your phone's Wi-Fi is enabled and connected to the dash cam's network (DVR_xxxx). Try turning off cellular data or Bluetooth on your phone if you experience connection problems.
  • App Preview Not Working: As mentioned above, temporarily disable cellular data or Bluetooth on your phone.
  • Recording Stops Unexpectedly: Ensure the TF card is not full. Format the TF card regularly. If the issue persists, try a different compatible TF card.

  • 24H Parking Monitor Not Working: This feature requires an additional hardwire kit (B0F26LDFZW). Ensure it is correctly installed and wired to your vehicle's fuse box.

Resetting the Dash Cam

If the dash cam is unresponsive or experiencing persistent issues, you can perform a reset:

  • Soft Reset: Press the reset button (located near the indicator light) using a small tool (e.g., a paperclip). This will reset the dash cam to its default settings without formatting the SD card.
