5. Assembly and Setup

Follow these steps to assemble your breast pump:

  1. Clean and Sterilize: Before first use, disassemble all parts that come into contact with breast milk (flanges, pump bodies, valves, bottles, nipples, caps). Wash them with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and sterilize according to manufacturer guidelines (e.g., boiling, steam sterilizer).
  2. Assemble the Pump Body: Insert the valve into the bottom of the pump body. Ensure it is securely seated.
  3. Attach Flange: Securely attach the appropriate size flange to the pump body. Use the nipple ruler to determine your correct flange size for optimal comfort and efficiency.
  4. Connect Bottle: Screw the milk collection bottle onto the bottom of the pump body.

6. Operating Instructions

The NCVI Electric Breast Pump 8132 offers customizable settings for a personalized pumping experience.

Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button (O) on the motor unit to turn the pump on or off. The smart display will illuminate.

Modes and Levels

The pump features 4 modes and 9 suction levels, along with 5 speed settings:

  • Multitronic Mode: Variable frequency to optimize milk expression.
  • Massage Mode: Gentle stimulation to initiate milk flow.
  • Suck Simulate Mode: Variable frequency to encourage more milk.
  • Express Mode: Slow and deep suction to empty the breast efficiently.

Press the 'M' button to cycle through the different modes. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the suction level (1-9) and speed settings (1-5) within each mode.

Night Light Function

7. Cleaning and Maintenance

Proper cleaning and maintenance are crucial for hygiene and the longevity of your breast pump.

After Each Use

  1. Disassemble: Separate all parts that came into contact with breast milk (flanges, pump bodies, valves, bottles, nipples, caps).
  2. Wash: Rinse parts with cold water to remove milk residue. Then, wash thoroughly with warm soapy water using a dedicated brush.
  3. Rinse: Rinse all parts under running water to remove soap residue.
  4. Sterilize: Sterilize parts by boiling for 5 minutes, using a steam sterilizer, or following your preferred sterilization method.
  5. Dry: Air dry all components on a clean drying rack or use a clean cloth. Ensure parts are completely dry before storing to prevent mold growth.

Motor Unit Care

The pump motor unit should not be washed or immersed in water. Wipe the exterior of the motor unit with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
