3. Assembly Instructions

Follow these steps to assemble your VINGLI Office Desk Chair. It is recommended to have a second person assist with certain steps for ease and safety.

1. Attach Mechanism Plate to Seat: Align the mechanism plate with the pre-drilled holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Secure it using the provided screws and Allen wrench. Ensure the front of the mechanism plate faces the front of the seat.
2. Connect Backrest to Seat: Attach the backrest to the seat cushion using the designated screws. Ensure a firm connection.
3. Install Armrests (Optional): If desired, attach the armrests to the sides of the seat and backrest using the provided screws. The armrests are removable for flexible use.
4. Prepare the Base: Insert either the 5 wheels or the 5 anti-slip foot pegs into the openings at the end of each leg of the star base. Push firmly until they click into place. Choose the base type that best suits your needs.
5. Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled star base.
6. Attach Seat to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat (with mechanism plate) onto the top of the gas lift cylinder. Press down firmly to secure the connection.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Height Adjustment

To adjust the seat height:

• To raise the seat: While standing, pull the lever located under the right side of the seat upwards. The seat will rise automatically. Release the lever when the desired height is reached.
• To lower the seat: While seated, pull the lever located under the right side of the seat upwards. The seat will lower. Release the lever when the desired height is reached.

4.2 Reclining Function

The chair features a 105-120° tilt mechanism for comfortable reclining.

• To recline: Pull the lever on the left side of the seat outwards to unlock the tilt mechanism. Lean back to the desired angle.
• To lock the recline: Push the lever on the left side of the seat inwards to lock the chair in an upright position.

4.3 360° Swivel

The chair's seat can rotate 360 degrees silently, allowing for easy movement and access within your workspace.

4.4 Switching Base Modes (Wheels vs. Stationary Pegs)

The chair is designed with a dual-base system, allowing you to switch between mobile (wheeled) and stationary (foot peg) modes.

• To switch: Carefully turn the chair upside down. Firmly pull out the installed wheels or foot pegs from the star base. Insert the alternative set (either wheels or foot pegs) into the same openings until they are securely seated.
