5.3 Wiring

  1. Connect the incoming DC positive (+) and negative (-) wires to the upper terminals of the circuit breaker.
  2. Connect the outgoing DC positive (+) and negative (-) wires to the lower terminals of the circuit breaker.
  3. Ensure all wire connections are tight and secure to prevent loose contacts and overheating.
  4. Verify correct polarity for DC connections.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Turning On/Off

  • To Turn On: Push the operating lever(s) upwards to the 'ON' position (indicated by 'I').
  • To Turn Off: Push the operating lever(s) downwards to the 'OFF' position (indicated by 'O').

6.2 Automatic Tripping

In the event of an overcurrent or short circuit, the circuit breaker will automatically trip, moving the operating lever(s) to an intermediate or 'OFF' position to interrupt the circuit and protect connected equipment.

6.3 Resetting After a Trip

  1. First, identify and rectify the cause of the overcurrent or short circuit.
  2. Push the operating lever(s) fully down to the 'OFF' position.
  3. Then, push the operating lever(s) upwards to the 'ON' position to restore power.
  4. If the circuit breaker trips immediately again, do not attempt to reset it repeatedly. Consult a qualified electrician.

7. Maintenance

The ZMEGTURQ TOB1Z-125 circuit breaker requires minimal maintenance. Regular inspections are recommended.

  • Periodically inspect the circuit breaker for any signs of physical damage, discoloration, or loose connections.
  • Ensure the area around the circuit breaker is clean and free from obstructions to allow for proper heat dissipation.
  • Do not attempt to open or repair the circuit breaker. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.

8. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your TOB1Z-125 circuit breaker, consider the following:

  • Circuit Breaker Trips Frequently: This indicates an overcurrent or short circuit condition in the protected circuit. Investigate connected loads and wiring for faults. Do not repeatedly reset the breaker without addressing the underlying issue.
  • Circuit Breaker Does Not Reset: Ensure the operating lever is pushed fully to the 'OFF' position before attempting to move it to 'ON'. If it still does not reset, there may be a persistent fault or internal damage.
  • No Power to Circuit (Breaker ON): Check all wiring connections for tightness. Verify that the incoming power supply to the circuit breaker is active.

For persistent problems or if you are unsure about any electrical issue, always consult a qualified electrician.
