Maintenance

1. Water Resistance (IPX4)

The DunRock Semi earbuds are IPX4 rated, meaning they are resistant to splashes of water from any direction. This makes them suitable for workouts and light rain. They are not designed for submersion in water.

  • Avoid exposing the earbuds to strong jets of water or submersion.
  • If the earbuds get wet, wipe them dry with a soft, clean cloth before placing them back in the charging case.

Regular cleaning helps maintain optimal performance and hygiene.

  • Gently remove any earwax or debris from the earbud tips and speaker grilles using a small, soft brush or cotton swab.
  • Avoid using abrasive materials, alcohol, or chemical cleaners.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your DunRock Semi earbuds, try the following solutions:

  • No Sound/Poor Sound Quality:
    • Ensure earbuds are properly seated in your ears. A poor fit can significantly impact sound and ANC performance.
    • Check the volume level on both your device and the earbuds.
    • Ensure the earbuds are connected to the correct device.
    • Clean any debris from the speaker grilles.
    • Try resetting the earbuds (refer to the app or manufacturer's website for specific reset instructions).
  • Earbuds Not Pairing:
    • Ensure the earbuds are charged.
    • Turn off Bluetooth on other nearby devices to avoid interference.
    • Place the earbuds back in the case, close it, wait a few seconds, then open it again to re-enter pairing mode.
    • Forget the device from your phone's Bluetooth settings and try pairing again.
  • ANC Not Effective:
    • Ensure the earbuds have a secure and comfortable fit in your ears.
    • Verify that ANC is activated (long press on earbud or via the app).
    • Try different ANC modes if available through the app.
  • Charging Issues:
    • Ensure the USB-C cable and power adapter are working correctly.
    • Check that the charging contacts on both the earbuds and the case are clean and free of debris.
