- Press the lower pusher to advance the chronograph minute hand.
- Once all chronograph hands are aligned to zero, push the crown back into position 1.

- Stop: Press the upper pusher again to stop the chronograph. The elapsed time will be displayed on the subdials.
- Reset: With the chronograph stopped, press the lower pusher to reset all chronograph hands to their zero positions.
- Split Time (if applicable): Some chronographs allow for split time measurement. Consult the full Timex manual for advanced features if needed.
Using the Tachymeter
The tachymeter scale on the bezel can be used to measure speed based on travel time over a known distance (e.g., 1 kilometer or 1 mile).
- Start the chronograph at the beginning of the measured distance.
- Stop the chronograph when you reach the end of the distance.
- The number on the tachymeter scale corresponding to the chronograph seconds hand indicates the average speed per hour.
Maintenance
Water Resistance
Your Timex TW2Y01900 watch is water resistant up to 5 bars (5 ATM). This means it is suitable for everyday use, showering, and short periods of swimming in shallow water. It is not suitable for diving, snorkeling, or high-impact water sports. Do not operate the crown or pushers when the watch is wet or submerged.
Cleaning
- Wipe the watch case and strap with a soft, damp cloth.
- For the silicone strap, mild soap and water can be used, then rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish.
Battery Replacement
The watch uses one 12V battery. When the watch stops or the hands move erratically, it may be time for a battery replacement. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
Storage
When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep it away from strong magnetic fields, which can affect timekeeping accuracy.
