3. Setup and Installation

The BesLowe Solar Wall Lights are designed for straightforward installation without the need for electrical wiring. Follow these steps for proper setup:

1. Choose a Location: Select an outdoor location that receives direct sunlight for at least 6-8 hours daily. This is crucial for optimal charging and performance. Avoid areas under eaves, trees, or other obstructions that might shade the solar panel.
2. Activate the Light: Before mounting, locate the power switch on the light unit. Ensure the switch is in the 'ON' position to allow the battery to charge. The light will not charge if it is in the 'OFF' or middle position.
3. Mark Drilling Points: Hold the light's mounting plate against the desired wall or post. Use a pencil to mark the positions for the mounting screws.
4. Drill Holes: Using an appropriate drill bit for your wall material, drill pilot holes at the marked positions. If installing on masonry or concrete, insert the provided wall anchors into the drilled holes.
5. Mount the Light: Align the mounting plate with the drilled holes and secure the light to the wall or post using the provided screws. Ensure the light is firmly attached.

4. Operating Instructions

The BesLowe Solar Wall Lights are designed for automatic operation, but they also offer adjustable settings.

Automatic Operation:

Once installed and the power switch is in the 'ON' position, the lights will operate automatically:

• During the day, the solar panel will convert sunlight into electricity and store it in the internal 4000mAh battery.
• At dusk, the built-in light sensor will detect the decrease in ambient light and automatically turn the light on.
• At dawn, the light will automatically turn off and begin recharging.

Adjusting Color Temperature:

The light features a toggle switch to select between two color temperatures:

• 3000K Warm White: Provides a cozy and inviting ambiance.
• 5000K Cool White: Offers a brighter, more neutral illumination.

To change the color temperature, simply locate the toggle switch on the light unit and move it to your desired setting. This adjustment can be made at any time.

• Light Does Not Turn On at Dusk:
  • Check Power Switch: Ensure the power switch on the light unit is in the 'ON' position. The light will not charge or operate if it is in the 'OFF' or middle position.
  • Insufficient Sunlight: The light may not have received enough direct sunlight during the day to fully charge. Relocate the light to an area with more direct sun exposure, or allow for several sunny days to fully charge the battery.
  • Shading: Ensure the solar panel is not obstructed by trees, buildings, or other objects that cast shadows on it throughout the day.
  • Dirty Solar Panel: Clean the solar panel surface with a soft, damp cloth to remove any accumulated dirt or debris that might be blocking sunlight.
  • Ambient Light Interference: The light sensor might be detecting other light sources (e.g., streetlights, other outdoor lights) nearby, preventing the solar light from activating. Relocate the light if possible.
• Light Runtime is Short:
  • Limited Sunlight: The battery charge depends on daily sunlight exposure. Shorter days or cloudy weather will result in reduced runtime.
  • Battery Degradation: Over time, rechargeable batteries may lose capacity. If the light is old and consistently has short runtime despite adequate charging, the battery may need replacement (contact customer support for guidance).
