4. Setup and Connection

4.1 Charging the Headset

Before first use, fully charge the headset. A full charge takes approximately 2.5 hours.

  • Connect the USB Charging Cable to the headset's charging port and to a USB power source.
  • The LED indicator will show charging status.
  • The headset provides voice prompts when power falls below 3%.

4.2 2.4GHz Wireless Connection

For a seamless wireless experience with low latency:

  • Plug the 2.4GHz USB Dongle into an available USB port on your PC, PS4, or PS5 console.
  • Power on the headset. It should automatically connect to the dongle.
  • Note: Wireless mode is not compatible with Xbox series consoles.

4.3 Bluetooth Mode

To connect via Bluetooth:

  • With the headset powered on, double-click the power button to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
  • On your mobile device (phone, tablet) or Nintendo Switch, search for Bluetooth devices and select "Captain 400" to pair.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

  • To power on: Press and hold the power button until the LED indicators light up.
  • To power off: Press and hold the power button until the LED indicators turn off.

5.2 Volume Control

Adjust the volume using the dedicated volume controls located on the headset's earcup.

5.3 Microphone Usage

  • Attach the detachable microphone to the designated port on the headset.
