Setup and Installation

2. Assemble the Fountain Components

  1. Attach the main fountain outlet connector to the pump's top outlet.

  3. If using the secondary water output for a waterfall or other feature, remove the plug from the side outlet and attach the flow rate valve and hose barb connector.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On

Once installed and fully submerged, connect the power cord to a grounded electrical outlet. The pump will immediately begin operating.

2. Adjusting Fountain Spray

The telescopic rod can be adjusted to achieve the desired fountain height. The three included nozzles offer different spray patterns: Bell, Volcano, and Daisy. Experiment with each to find your preferred aesthetic.

3. Secondary Water Output

If you have connected a secondary water feature (e.g., a waterfall), use the integrated flow rate valve to adjust the water flow to that feature. Note: Avoid using the Bell fountain jet when connected to the secondary outlet, as this may distort the bell shape.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and water clarity.

1. Cleaning Filter Media

The filter media should be cleaned periodically, depending on pond size and debris levels. Disconnect power before cleaning.

  • Unclip the side latches and remove the top cover.
  • Remove the coarse and fine sponges. Rinse them thoroughly with pond water (not tap water, to preserve beneficial bacteria) until clean.
  • The ceramic rings and bio-balls should be rinsed gently with pond water only when heavily soiled, as they house beneficial bacteria crucial for biological filtration.
  • Reassemble the filter media in the correct order: Bio-Balls at the bottom, then Ceramic Rings, Fine Sponge, and Coarse Sponge on top.

2. Pump Cleaning

Occasionally, the pump impeller may need cleaning if flow is reduced. Refer to the pump's specific instructions for impeller access and cleaning.
