General Safety

• Read all instructions carefully before installation and use.
• Keep children and pets away from the installation area.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves and safety glasses during installation.
• Do not use damaged tiles. Inspect all tiles before installation.

Surface Preparation Safety

• Ensure the installation surface is stable, level, and free from debris.
• Proper drainage is essential to prevent water accumulation under the tiles.

Required Tools (Not Included)

• Measuring tape
• Utility knife or saw (for cutting tiles, if necessary)
• Rubber mallet (optional, for securing clicks)
• Safety gloves and glasses

Surface Preparation

1. Clean the Surface: Ensure the area where the tiles will be laid is clean, dry, and free of dirt, dust, and debris.
2. Level the Surface: The surface must be as level as possible to ensure proper tile interlocking and stability. Minor irregularities can be tolerated, but significant slopes or depressions should be addressed.
3. Ensure Drainage: The underlying surface should allow for adequate water drainage to prevent pooling under the tiles, which can lead to mold or damage over time.

Installation Steps

1. Start Point: Begin laying tiles from a corner of the area, working outwards. This helps maintain alignment.
2. Interlocking: Align the male (pins) and female (loops) connectors of two tiles. Gently press them together until they click into place. A rubber mallet can be used to lightly tap the edges for a secure fit.
3. Continue Laying: Continue connecting tiles in rows, ensuring each tile is firmly interlocked with its neighbors.
4. Cutting Tiles (if needed): For edges or irregular shapes, tiles can be cut using a utility knife or saw. Measure carefully before cutting.
5. Expansion Gap: Leave a small expansion gap (approx. 1-2 cm) around fixed structures like walls or posts to allow for material expansion due to temperature changes.

Regular Cleaning

• Sweeping: Regularly sweep or vacuum the tiles to remove loose dirt, leaves, and debris.
• Washing: For deeper cleaning, wash the tiles with water and a mild, non-abrasive detergent. A soft brush or mop can be used. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
• Pressure Washing: Low-pressure washing can be used, but avoid high-pressure settings that could damage the WPC material or dislodge tiles.

Stain Removal

• Address spills and stains promptly. Most common stains can be removed with soap and water.
• For stubborn stains, a specialized WPC cleaner may be used, following the manufacturer's instructions. Test on an inconspicuous area first.

Seasonal Care

• Winter: While weather-resistant, remove heavy snow accumulation to prevent excessive weight. Avoid using metal shovels that could scratch the surface. Use plastic shovels or brushes.
• Algae/Moss: If algae or moss appears, clean with a suitable outdoor cleaner or a mixture of water and vinegar.
