1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing the INFANS 2-in-1 Convertible Baby Stroller. This manual provides essential information for the safe and proper assembly, operation, and maintenance of your stroller. Please read all instructions carefully before use and keep this manual for future reference.

Important Safety Information

  • Always use the 5-point safety harness to secure your child.
  • Never leave your child unattended in the stroller.
  • Ensure the stroller is fully unfolded and locked before placing a child inside.
  • Always engage the brakes when the stroller is stationary.
  • Do not overload the storage basket or attach items to the handle, as this may cause the stroller to become unstable.
  • This product is suitable for children aged 0-36 months and with a maximum weight of 55 lbs.
  • Complies with ASTM and CPSIA safety standards.

2. Product Components

Before assembly, ensure all parts are present and undamaged. Refer to the diagram below for component identification.

3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Unfolding the Stroller

  1. Place the folded stroller on a flat surface.
  2. Release any locking mechanisms that keep the stroller folded.
  3. Lift the handlebar and pull upwards until the frame clicks into place, indicating it is fully unfolded.
  4. Ensure all locking mechanisms are securely engaged before use.

3.2 Attaching the Wheels

  1. Locate the front wheels. Align the wheel axle with the corresponding slot on the front leg of the stroller frame. Push firmly until it clicks into place. Repeat for the other front wheel.
  2. Locate the rear wheels. Align the wheel axle with the corresponding slot on the rear leg of the stroller frame. Push firmly until it clicks into place. Repeat for the other rear wheel.
  3. Gently pull on each wheel to ensure it is securely attached.

3.3 Attaching the Bumper Bar

The bumper bar can be attached by aligning its connectors with the slots on either side of the seat unit and pushing until it clicks. It can be removed by pressing the buttons on the side and pulling it out.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Reversible Seat and Bassinet Modes

The stroller offers a 2-in-1 design, allowing the seat unit to convert into a bassinet and be reversed to face either the parent or the world.

  1. To change the direction of the seat, locate the release buttons on both sides of the seat unit. Press them simultaneously and lift the seat unit. Rotate it to the desired direction and reattach until it clicks securely.
  2. To convert between seat and bassinet mode, adjust the backrest and footrest. The backrest can be set to sitting, semi-reclining, or lay-flat positions.

4.2 Handlebar Adjustment

The handlebar can be adjusted to 9 different height levels to suit various user heights. Locate the adjustment buttons on the sides of the handlebar, press them, and move the handlebar up or down to the desired position. Release the buttons to lock it in place.

4.3 Folding the Stroller

The stroller features a quick-folding design for easy storage and transport.

  1. Ensure the seat is in the forward-facing position and the canopy is folded back.
  2. Locate the folding buttons/levers (usually on the handlebar or side of the frame).
  3. Follow the specific folding sequence as indicated by the product design (often involves pressing buttons and pushing the handlebar forward or down).
  4. Secure the stroller with the fixing buckle once folded.

4.4 Brake System

The stroller is equipped with a one-step brake system on the rear wheels for safety.

  • To engage the brake, press down on the brake pedal located near the rear wheels.
  • To release the brake, lift the pedal upwards.
  • Always ensure the brake is fully engaged when the stroller is stationary.

4.5 Adjustable Canopy

The canopy provides UV protection and can be adjusted to multiple angles. It also features a zipper peek-a-boo window for ventilation and monitoring your child.

  • To adjust the canopy, simply push or pull it to the desired position.
  • Unzip the mesh window for increased airflow and visibility.

4.6 5-Point Safety Harness

The 5-point safety harness ensures your child is securely fastened in the stroller.

  • Place your child in the seat.
  • Fasten the shoulder straps, waist straps, and crotch strap into the central buckle.
  • Adjust the straps to ensure a snug but comfortable fit for your child.
  • To release, press the button on the central buckle.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: The fabric components can be spot cleaned with mild soap and water. Do not use harsh detergents or bleach. Allow to air dry completely.
  • Frame Care: Wipe the aluminum frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
  • Wheels: Regularly check the wheels for debris and ensure they rotate freely. Lubricate axles if necessary.
  • Storage: Store the stroller in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight when not in use.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Stroller does not fold/unfold smoothly: Ensure all locking mechanisms are disengaged. Check for any obstructions in the folding mechanism.
  • Wheels are stiff or squeaky: Clean any debris from the wheel axles. Apply a small amount of silicone-based lubricant if needed.
  • Harness is difficult to buckle/unbuckle: Ensure the buckle components are clean and free of debris.
