Setup

1. Battery Installation

  1. Align the battery pack with the grooves on the back of the radio.
  2. Slide the battery pack upwards until it clicks into place.
  3. To remove, press the battery release latch (if present) and slide the battery downwards.

2. Antenna Attachment

  1. Locate the antenna connector on the top of the radio.
  2. Screw the foldable tactical antenna clockwise onto the connector until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten.
  3. Ensure the antenna is securely attached for optimal performance.

3. Charging the Battery

  1. Insert the battery pack into the charging cradle.
  2. Connect the USB charger and adapter to the charging cradle and a power source.
  3. The charging indicator light will illuminate (typically red) during charging and change color (typically green) when fully charged.
  4. A full charge takes approximately 4-5 hours.
