3. Product Overview
3.1 Receiver Unit
The receiver plugs into a standard electrical outlet and emits an audible chime when a paired sensor detects motion. It features controls for adjusting ringtones and volume.

3.2 Motion Sensor
The motion sensors are battery-powered (6 AAA batteries included) or can be powered via USB. They detect infrared motion and transmit a signal to the receiver. Each sensor includes a 360° rotatable base for flexible positioning and angle adjustment.

4. Setup Instructions
4.1 Receiver Installation
- Plug the receiver into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure it is within the wireless range of your desired sensor locations (up to 500ft/150m).
4.2 Sensor Battery Installation
- Gently open the back cover of the motion sensor.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries into the battery compartment, observing correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the back cover securely.

4.3 Sensor Mounting
Sensors can be mounted using either double-sided adhesive tape or screws, depending on the surface and desired permanence.
- Adhesive Mounting: Clean the desired surface. Peel off the protective film from the double-sided tape and firmly press the sensor onto the surface.
- Screw Mounting: Use the provided screws to secure the sensor's base to the wall or desired location. The sensor can then be attached to the base.

4.4 Pairing Sensors with Receiver
Follow these steps to pair your motion sensors with the receiver:
- Plug in the receiver.
- On the receiver, short press the 'Previous Tone' or 'Next Tone' key to select your desired ringtone.
- Press and hold the 'Volume Key' on the receiver. The LED indicator light will remain on, indicating the receiver is in pairing mode.
- Trigger the motion sensor by passing your hand in front of it. The receiver will beep twice and its LED light will flash twice, confirming successful pairing.
- Short press any button on the receiver to exit pairing mode.
For a visual guide on pairing and basic operation, please refer to the video below:

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Adjusting Ringtones and Volume
- Ringtone Selection: Use the 'Previous Tone' and 'Next Tone' buttons on the receiver to cycle through the 35 available ringtones.
- Volume Adjustment: Press the 'Volume Key' repeatedly to adjust through 5 levels of volume (0-100dB), including a mute mode.

5.2 Detection Angle and Range Adjustment
The motion sensor detects movement within a range of 13-26 feet (4-8 meters). The 360° rotatable base allows you to precisely aim the sensor. The detection angle can be adjusted between 30-110° to optimize coverage for specific areas.

Image: A diagram showing the adjustable detection angle and range of the motion sensor, indicating how it can be configured for different coverage needs.
5.3 Expandable Connectivity
The receiver can be paired with up to 20 additional motion sensors, allowing for comprehensive coverage across multiple entry points or areas. Each sensor can be assigned a unique or shared alert tone.

6. Maintenance
6.1 Battery Replacement (Sensors)
When the sensor's battery is low, the indicator light may flash differently or the sensor may become unresponsive. Replace the 2 AAA batteries as described in Section 4.2.
6.2 Cleaning
Wipe the receiver and sensors with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse units in water.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Receiver does not chime when sensor is triggered. | Sensor batteries are low or depleted. Sensor is out of range. Sensor and receiver are not paired. Receiver is in mute mode. | Replace sensor batteries. Move sensor closer to receiver. Re-pair sensor and receiver (Section 4.4). Adjust receiver volume (Section 5.1). |
| False alarms. | Sensor is detecting pets or moving objects (e.g., curtains, tree branches). Sensor is exposed to direct sunlight or heat sources. | Adjust sensor angle or relocate to avoid interference (Section 5.2). Relocate sensor away from direct sunlight or heat. |
| Short detection range. | Obstructions between sensor and receiver. Low sensor battery. | Ensure clear line of sight or reduce obstructions. Replace sensor batteries. |
