Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of your DESLOC Smart Lock D110 Plus. This smart lock offers multiple access methods and integrates with your home network via built-in Wi-Fi for remote control and monitoring.

The DESLOC D110 Plus is designed for enhanced security and convenience, featuring a fingerprint sensor, keypad, app control, and traditional key access. It is BHMA Grade 3 certified and IP54-rated for durability.

Setup

1. Pre-installation: Door Compatibility Check

Before beginning installation, verify that your door meets the following specifications:

• Door Thickness: 1-3/8 inches to 2 inches (35mm to 50mm)
• Hole Diameter: 2-1/8 inches (54mm)
• Door Hole Diameter: 1 inch (25mm)
• Backset: 2-3/8 inches or 2-3/4 inches (60mm or 70mm)

2. Installation Steps

The DESLOC D110 Plus is designed for straightforward installation, typically taking 10-15 minutes with a screwdriver. The lock features automatic door swing direction detection.

1. Prepare the door by ensuring all compatibility requirements are met.
2. Install the deadbolt into the door edge.
3. Mount the exterior lock unit.
4. Attach the mounting plate to the interior side of the door.
5. Connect the cable from the exterior unit to the interior unit.
6. Secure the interior lock unit. The interior lock back cover includes adhesive for hands-free setup during wiring.
7. Insert 4 AA batteries (not included) into the interior unit.
8. Perform initial setup and calibration as prompted by the lock or app.

Operating Instructions

1. Unlocking Methods

The DESLOC D110 Plus offers six methods for unlocking:

• Fingerprint: Utilize the integrated fingerprint sensor for quick access. The FlashPrint Algorithm provides recognition in less than 0.3 seconds with over 99% accuracy.
• PIN Code: Enter a personalized PIN code on the keypad.
• Smartphone App: Control the lock remotely via the DESLOC app.
• Mechanical Key: Use the provided physical key for traditional access.
• Fobs: Compatible with RFID fobs for convenient entry.
• Voice Control: Integrate with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa for voice commands.

2. App Control and User Management

The DESLOC app allows you to control your smart lock from any location using the built-in Wi-Fi. You can receive real-time lock status updates and customize notifications for different users.

• Remote Access: Lock or unlock your door remotely.
• User Management: Store up to 50 fingerprints and 100 PIN codes. Set custom permission levels and access schedules for various users (e.g., family, guests, service providers).
• Activity Log: View a history of lock events, including who accessed the door and when.

3. LockVue Display

The integrated 0.96-inch LockVue Display provides immediate visual feedback on the lock's status, including battery level, lock configuration, and operational modes.

4. Smart Modes and Auto-Lock

• Passage Mode: Keeps the door unlocked for easy access during periods of high traffic, such as gatherings.
• Vacation Mode: Enhances security when you are away by limiting access and providing specific alerts.
• Night Mode: Features a backlit keypad for visibility in low light and silent operation for quiet late-night entries.
• Auto-Lock: Configure the lock to automatically secure the door after a customizable time delay (e.g., 5-120 seconds) once it has been closed.

Maintenance

1. Battery Management

The DESLOC D110 Plus is powered by 4 AA batteries (not included) and features a PowerMax system for optimized power consumption, providing up to 6 months of use. The lock will provide low battery alerts through the LockVue Display and the app.

In case of complete battery depletion, an emergency Type-C USB port is available on the exterior unit for temporary power supply, allowing you to unlock the door.

2. Cleaning

To maintain the appearance and functionality of your smart lock, wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the finish and electronic components.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues and Solutions

• Low Battery: The LockVue Display and app will indicate low battery. Replace the 4 AA batteries promptly. If completely drained, use the Type-C emergency power port.
• Fingerprint Not Recognized: Ensure your finger is clean and dry. Re-register your fingerprint if issues persist.
• PIN Code Entry Issues: Ensure correct PIN is entered. Utilize the anti-peeping feature by entering random digits before or after your actual PIN to prevent unauthorized observation.
• App Connectivity Problems: Verify your home Wi-Fi network is active and the lock is within range. Restart the lock and your router if necessary.
• Anti-Hijacking Alarm: In an emergency, entering a pre-set hijacking fingerprint or PIN will silently send alerts and emails to designated users, providing a discreet way to signal distress.
