The Anykit AN150P is a versatile inspection tool featuring a 0.25-inch (6.5mm) convertible snake camera, a 5-inch IPS video check camera with integrated light, and a 3.28-foot (1-meter) probe length. It is ideal for mechanics, maintenance technicians, and DIY enthusiasts.

2. Safety Information

  • Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, moisture, or corrosive environments.
  • Ensure the probe is clean and free of debris before and after each use.
  • Avoid bending the probe beyond its specified articulation limits to prevent damage.
  • Keep the device away from children.
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the device, as this will void the warranty and may cause injury.
  • The probe is waterproof (IP67 rated), but the main display unit is not. Avoid exposing the display unit to liquids.
  • The intelligent high-temperature protection system will trigger an alarm if the temperature exceeds 70°C (158°F) to safeguard the camera.

5. Setup

5.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the device using the provided USB charging cable. Connect the cable to the charging port on the display unit and a suitable USB power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show the charging status.

5.2 Attaching Accessories

The endoscope comes with a threaded protective ring on the lens. This ring must be removed to attach accessories like the hook or magnet.

  1. Rotate and remove the threaded protective ring from the lens.
  2. Rotate to install the desired accessory (hook or magnet) onto the lens.
  3. After use, reinstall the threaded protective ring and replace the lens protection cap for storage.

5.3 Connecting the Probe and Display Unit

Ensure the detachable screen is securely connected to the borescope handle. The enhanced connector design ensures a reliable connection for smooth data transmission.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the power button until the screen illuminates.
  • To power off, press and hold the power button until the screen turns off.

6.2 Using the Articulated Probe

The 360° articulating probe allows you to maneuver the camera tip to achieve optimal viewing angles. Use the control knob on the handle to adjust the probe's direction. The probe can bend up to 210° for maximum reach and flexibility.

6.3 Capturing Images and Videos

The device supports taking pictures in 720p or 1080p and video recording in 720p. Refer to the on-screen menu for specific capture modes and settings.

  • Press the 'OK' button to capture an image.
  • Press and hold the 'OK' button to start/stop video recording.

6.4 Adjusting Focus (Auto/Manual)

The device defaults to Auto Focus (AF). You can switch to Manual Focus (MF) for precise adjustments.

  1. From Auto Focus (AF), press and hold the "OK" button for 2 seconds to switch to Manual Focus (MF).
  2. In Manual Focus (MF), use the "▲" and "▼" buttons to adjust the focus as needed.
  3. To return to Auto Focus (AF), press and hold the "OK" button for 2 seconds again.

6.5 Adjusting LED Lights

The camera probe is equipped with 6 adjustable LED lights. Use the dedicated light adjustment button (usually indicated by a light bulb icon) on the display unit to cycle through brightness levels or turn the lights on/off.

6.6 Digital Zoom

The device features a 5X digital zoom function to bring distant details closer for a more comprehensive view. Use the zoom buttons (often indicated by '+' and '-' or magnifying glass icons) on the display unit to adjust the zoom level.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning the Probe and Lens

  • After each use, gently wipe the camera lens and probe with a soft, damp cloth.
  • For stubborn dirt, use a small amount of mild soap solution, then wipe clean with a water-dampened cloth.
  • Ensure the lens is completely dry before storage.

7.2 Cleaning the Display Unit

  • Wipe the display screen and main unit with a dry, soft cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

7.3 Storage

  • Store the endoscope in its carrying case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Ensure the lens protection cap is in place to prevent scratches.

7.4 Battery Care

  • To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% every 3-6 months.

8. Troubleshooting
