1. Product Overview and Compatibility

This Hexinex Android Autoradio is specifically designed for the Fiat Grande Punto models manufactured between 2005 and 2012. It integrates modern features such as Android Auto, CarPlay, Bluetooth, GPS navigation, and FM RDS radio into your vehicle's dashboard.

Important Compatibility Note: This car radio is exclusively compatible with Fiat Grande Punto (2005-2012) and cannot be installed on other models. If you are unsure about compatibility, please provide images of your dashboard and steering wheel controls for verification.

2.3 Physical Installation

1. Carefully remove the original car radio from the dashboard.

3.2 CarPlay and Android Auto

The autoradio supports both wired and wireless CarPlay and Android Auto without requiring additional adapters.

1. For wireless connection, ensure Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are enabled on your smartphone and the autoradio. Follow the on-screen prompts to pair.
2. For wired connection, connect your smartphone to the autoradio via a USB cable.
3. Once connected, the CarPlay or Android Auto interface will appear on the screen, allowing access to navigation, music, calls, and other compatible apps.

Compatibility Note: Some Android smartphone models may not be fully compatible with Android Auto due to manufacturer-specific limitations. Connection issues in such cases are typically attributed to the phone's manufacturer.

3.3 GPS Navigation

The autoradio includes an FM RDS function. This displays the station frequency (e.g., FM88.8). To access advanced digital radio features and display station names, a separate DAB+ adapter with a USB port is required.

3.5 Steering Wheel Controls

With the CANBUS and 8-PIN connectors properly installed, your vehicle's original steering wheel controls will function automatically without manual configuration.

If your vehicle is equipped with original parking sensors, the autoradio will automatically recognize this function when a rear camera is installed. Integration with third-party parking sensors is not supported.

3.6 Reverse Camera Function

This autoradio does not include a rear camera. If you wish to use a reverse camera, it must be purchased separately and connected to the designated input on the unit.

3.7 Wi-Fi Connectivity

The unit supports Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to access online services and applications. To connect:

1. Go to the Wi-Fi settings on the autoradio.
2. Enable Wi-Fi and scan for available networks.

3. Select car model: Simplesoft > Fiat > Doblò > Fiat Doblò 2015 (PR5-FT-002 (DOBLO_XP03)).
4. Find the 'Carinfo' application, select 'CarSetting', then 'Instrument Panel Config'.
5. Click on 'Cartype Option' and select 'Type 1'.
6. Turn off the engine, exit the car, lock it, return after a few minutes, restart the engine, and check if the instrument cluster is still flashing.
7. If it still flashes, continue selecting 'Type 2', repeat the previous steps, and so on, until the flashing odometer problem is resolved.

5.2 General Troubleshooting Tips

• No Power: Check all power connections and fuses. Ensure the vehicle's battery is adequately charged.
• No Sound: Verify speaker connections. Check volume levels on both the autoradio and any connected devices. Ensure the mute function is not active.
• Touchscreen Unresponsive: Try restarting the unit. If the issue persists, a factory reset might be necessary (note: this will erase all user data).
• GPS Signal Loss: Ensure the GPS antenna is correctly installed and has a clear view of the sky. Check for any obstructions.
• Android Auto/CarPlay Connection Issues: Ensure your smartphone's operating system is up to date. Try different USB cables if using a wired connection. Restart both the phone and the autoradio.
