Setup and First Use

  1. Unpack: Remove all packaging materials and accessories.
  2. Clean: Wash the inner pot, sealing gasket, and condensation collector with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth.
  3. Assemble: Place the inner pot into the main unit. Ensure the sealing gasket is properly seated in the lid. Attach the condensation collector to the back of the cooker.
  4. Test Run (Water Test): For first-time use, perform a water test to familiarize yourself with the pressure cooking function and ensure proper operation. Fill the inner pot with 3 cups of water, close the lid, and set the pressure release valve to 'Sealing'. Select a short pressure cooking program (e.g., 'Soup' for 5 minutes). Once complete, carefully release pressure.

Operating Instructions

Your pressure cooker features a digital display and 17 preset cooking functions for various dishes.

Basic Operation

  1. Add ingredients to the inner pot. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
  2. Place the lid on the cooker and turn it clockwise until it locks into place.
  3. Ensure the pressure release valve is set to the 'Sealing' position for pressure cooking functions. For non-pressure functions like Slow Cook, it can be in 'Venting'.
  4. Plug in the power cord. The digital display will illuminate.
  5. Select a cooking function using the 'Selection' button or direct preset buttons (e.g., 'Rice', 'Soup', 'Slow Cook').
  6. Adjust cooking time if necessary using the '+' and '-' buttons.
  7. The cooker will automatically begin the preheating process. Once pressure is reached (for pressure cooking), the cooking timer will start.
  8. After cooking, the cooker will beep and may switch to 'Keep Warm' mode.
  9. Pressure Release: For pressure cooking, allow natural pressure release or use the quick release method by carefully turning the pressure release valve to 'Venting'. Always keep hands and face away from the steam vent.
  10. Once pressure is fully released (float valve drops), open the lid by turning it counter-clockwise.
