5. Operating Instructions
The evoloop Rapid Egg Cooker offers multiple cooking options with an easy-to-use switch and automatic shut-off feature.
5.1. Hard, Medium, or Soft-Boiled Eggs:
- Using the provided measuring cup, fill with cold water up to the line corresponding to your desired egg firmness (soft, medium, hard) and the number of eggs.
- Pour the measured water onto the heating plate of the egg cooker base.
- Carefully pierce the large end of each egg using the egg piercer located at the bottom of the measuring cup. This helps prevent cracking during cooking.
- Place the pierced eggs onto the egg holder tray, with the pierced end facing upwards.
- Cover the egg cooker with the transparent lid.
- Plug the appliance into a power outlet.
- Slide the switch to the 'cooking' position (left). The indicator light will illuminate.
- Once the water has evaporated and the eggs are cooked, the cooker will automatically shut off and a buzzer will sound.
- Carefully remove the lid and egg tray (use oven mitts as steam will be hot). Immediately transfer the cooked eggs to a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process and make them easier to peel.

5.2. Poached Eggs:
- Fill the measuring cup with water up to the 'poached' line. Pour water onto the heating plate.
- Lightly grease the poaching trays with cooking spray or butter.
- Crack one egg into each poaching tray.
- Place the poaching trays onto the egg holder tray, then cover with the transparent lid.
- Plug in and slide the switch to the 'cooking' position.
- Cook until the buzzer sounds and the cooker automatically shuts off.
5.3. Omelets:
- Fill the measuring cup with water up to the 'omelet' line. Pour water onto the heating plate.
- Lightly grease the omelet tray.
- Whisk 1-2 eggs with your desired ingredients (cheese, vegetables, etc.) and pour into the omelet tray.
- Place the omelet tray onto the egg holder tray, then cover with the transparent lid.
- Plug in and slide the switch to the 'cooking' position.
- Cook until the buzzer sounds and the cooker automatically shuts off.
5.4. Keep Warm Function:
To keep your cooked eggs warm without further cooking, slide the switch to the 'keep warm' position (right) after the cooking cycle is complete. The indicator light will remain on, but the buzzer will not sound.
6. Maintenance & Cleaning
Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your egg cooker.
6.1. Cleaning Detachable Parts:
The transparent lid, egg tray, poaching trays, omelet tray, and measuring cup are all detachable and can be washed in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling or storing.
6.2. Cleaning the Heating Plate:
After each use, unplug the appliance and allow the heating plate to cool completely. Wipe the heating plate with a damp cloth. For stubborn mineral deposits (scale), which may occur over time due to water hardness, you can use a solution of 1 part white vinegar to 2 parts water. Pour the solution onto the heating plate and let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then scrub gently with a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly. Do not immerse the base in water.

6.3. Storage:
The compact size of the evoloop Rapid Egg Cooker (approximately 8"L x 5"W x 7"H) makes it easy to store in cabinets or on countertops. Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing.

7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your evoloop Rapid Egg Cooker, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Eggs are not cooked to desired firmness. | Incorrect water amount; lid not properly sealed. | Ensure correct water level is used according to the measuring cup. Check that the lid is securely in place. |
| Eggs crack during cooking. | Eggs not pierced; cold eggs placed directly into hot cooker. | Always pierce the large end of each egg before cooking. Allow very cold eggs to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before cooking. |
| Buzzer does not sound. | Switch in 'keep warm' position; malfunction. | Ensure the switch is in the 'cooking' position. If the issue persists, contact customer support. |
| Mineral deposits on heating plate. | Hard water usage. | Clean the heating plate with a vinegar solution as described in the Maintenance section. Consider using distilled water to prevent future buildup. |
