1. Product Overview

The SWOFY M4 MP3 Player is a versatile portable audio device designed for music playback, video viewing, FM radio, voice recording, and e-book reading. It features a 2.4-inch touch screen, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via a Micro SD card.

2. Setup

2.1 Charging the Device

The MP3 player comes with a built-in rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery. Before first use, fully charge the device.

  1. Connect the provided USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the MP3 player.
  2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The device will indicate charging status on the screen. A full charge typically takes approximately 2 hours.

2.2 Power On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (located on the side) until the screen illuminates.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the power-off options appear on the screen, then select 'Power Off'.

2.3 Transferring Music and Files

The SWOFY M4 MP3 Player can be used as a USB drive to transfer files from your computer.

  1. Connect the MP3 player to your computer using the provided USB Type-C cable.
  2. The computer should recognize the device as a removable disk.
  3. Open the device's storage folder. You can drag and drop music files, videos, e-books, and other supported media directly into the appropriate folders on the player.
  4. Once file transfer is complete, safely eject the device from your computer before disconnecting the cable.

The device has 128GB of internal memory and supports Micro SD card expansion up to an additional 128GB. Insert a Micro SD card into the designated slot for expanded storage.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Touch Screen Navigation

The SWOFY M4 features a 2.4-inch sensitive touch screen for intuitive operation.

  • Tap: Select an icon or option.
  • Swipe: Navigate through menus or lists.
  • Back Button: A dedicated back button or on-screen arrow allows you to return to the previous screen.

3.2 Music Playback

Access the 'Music' application from the main menu to play your audio files.

  • Supported audio formats include MP3, OGG, FLAC, AAC, WMA, WAV, APE.
  • Use on-screen controls for play, pause, skip tracks, and volume adjustment.
  • The player includes a built-in speaker for direct audio output, or you can connect wired headphones via the 3.5mm jack.

3.3 Bluetooth Connectivity

The M4 music player features Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless audio streaming.

  1. Navigate to the 'Bluetooth' application from the main menu.
  2. Ensure your Bluetooth headphones or speaker are in pairing mode.
  3. On the MP3 player, tap 'Search for devices'.
  4. Select your device from the list to pair.

Note: Direct pairing with car Bluetooth, smartphones, or PCs is not supported for audio streaming from the MP3 player.

3.4 Other Functions

The SWOFY M4 MP3 Player offers several additional features:

  • FM Radio: Access the 'FM Radio' application to listen to local radio stations. Wired headphones act as an antenna.
  • Voice Recorder: Use the 'Record' application to capture audio.
  • E-book: Read text files (e.g., TXT format) via the 'E-book' application.
  • Video Playback: View videos in supported formats (e.g., AMV, AVI) through the 'Video' application.
  • Calendar & Photos: Basic calendar and photo viewing functions are also available.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

  • Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to clean the device's screen and body.
  • Avoid using abrasive cleaners, solvents, or aerosol sprays.

4.2 Battery Care

  • To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently.
  • Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use for extended periods.
  • Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures.

5. Troubleshooting

5.1 Common Issues and Solutions

  • Confirm your choice. The device will restart after the reset.
  • Caution: Ensure all important data is backed up before performing a factory reset.
