4. Setup

4.1 SIM Card and MicroSD Card Installation

  1. The camera comes with a built-in SIM card preloaded with 300MB of free data. No separate activation is required for initial use.
  2. Insert a compatible MicroSD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the designated slot for local video and image storage. Ensure the card is inserted correctly.

4.2 Powering the Device

The camera is powered by a built-in 10400mAh rechargeable battery, continuously charged by the integrated 6W solar panel. Ensure the solar panel receives adequate sunlight for optimal performance.

4.3 Mounting the Camera

Two primary mounting methods are available:

  • Integrated Mounting: Install the camera and mount the solar panel directly on the camera unit, then secure it to a tree or pole using the provided strap.
  • Separated Mounting: Install the camera and solar panel separately. Connect them using the power cable. This allows for optimal solar panel positioning even if the camera needs to be in a shaded area. Ensure the solar panel power cord is securely fixed to prevent accidental disconnection.

4.4 App Installation & Initial Connection

Download the companion mobile application (e.g., UBox APP) from your device's app store. Follow the in-app instructions to pair your camera and establish a live connection. The camera operates via 4G cellular network, requiring no Wi-Fi connection.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Live View & Two-Way Talk

Access the live feed through the mobile application. Utilize the pan (355°) and tilt (100°) functions to adjust the camera's view. The 4X digital zoom allows for closer inspection. The built-in two-way audio feature enables real-time communication through the camera.

5.2 Motion Detection & Alerts

The camera's PIR motion sensors detect movement from people and animals. Upon detection, instant alerts are sent to your connected smartphone. All triggered footage is recorded and can be accessed via the app or stored on a MicroSD card/cloud.

5.3 Night Vision

The camera features 2K HD resolution for clear video and photos day and night. Built-in spotlights enable full-color night vision. You can activate the spotlight via the app to obtain bright, clear images in complete darkness.

5.4 Data Usage and SIM Card Management

The built-in SIM card supports AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon networks. It comes with 300MB of free data for initial use. Once this data is consumed, you will need to top up cellular data via the UBox app to continue using the camera's cellular features. Only the SIM card provided with the camera can be used.

5.5 Customized Alert Time

The mobile application allows you to customize the alert schedule. You can set specific times or days when you wish to receive motion detection alerts, or turn them off entirely during periods when they are not needed.

  • Solar Panel Cleaning: Periodically clean the surface of the solar panel to remove dust, dirt, or debris that may obstruct sunlight and reduce charging efficiency. Use a soft, damp cloth.
  • Lens Cleaning: Gently clean the camera lens with a microfiber cloth to ensure clear image capture. Avoid abrasive materials.

  • Battery Not Charging:
