4. Setup & Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation to ensure optimal performance.
- Positioning the Unit: Place the portable AC unit on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 20 inches (50 cm) of free space around the unit for proper air circulation. If the unit was tipped during transport, let it stand upright for 4 hours before use.
- Assemble Exhaust Hose:
- Attach the hose connector to one end of the expandable exhaust hose by twisting it clockwise.
- Attach the adapter to the opposite end of the exhaust hose.
- Connect the assembled exhaust hose to the exhaust outlet on the back of the AC unit by sliding and snapping it into place.
- Install Window Kit:
- The window kit is adjustable and designed for both vertical and horizontal sliding windows. Applicable window sizes range from 25 inches to 50 inches in width.
- Adjust the main window panel and extension panels (if needed) to fit your window opening. Secure the panels together using the provided butterfly nut.
- Place the assembled window kit into the window opening. Close the window sash against the panel to hold it securely.
- Attach the exhaust hose adapter to the opening in the window kit. Use the included screws to secure it.

- Drainage Hose (Optional for Dehumidifier Mode): For continuous drainage during dehumidification, attach the provided drainage hose to the drain port at the bottom rear of the unit. Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow water to flow into a bucket or drain.

5. Operating Instructions
The unit can be controlled via the top panel or the remote control.

Control Panel & Remote:
- Power Button: Turns the unit on or off.
- Mode Button: Cycles through Cooling, Fan, and Dehumidifier modes.
- Up/Down Arrows: Adjusts temperature settings or timer duration.
- Speed Button: Selects fan speed (Low/High).
- Timer Button: Activates the 24-hour timer function.
- Sleep Button: Activates Sleep Mode.
- Lock Button: Locks the control panel to prevent accidental changes (available on top panel).
Operating Modes:
- Cooling Mode: Provides fast and effective cooling. Temperature can be set between 61°F and 90°F.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. Choose between Low and High fan speeds.
- Dehumidifier Mode: Removes excess moisture from the air, extracting up to 50.7 pints per day.
- Sleep Mode: Automatically adjusts temperature and operates at a lower noise level (approx. 52 dB) for comfortable sleep. Activate by pressing the Timer and Down arrow buttons simultaneously on the control panel, or the Sleep button on the remote.
Timer Function:
The 24-hour timer allows you to schedule the unit's operation. You can set it to:
- Auto-On: If the unit is off, set the timer for how long you want it to wait before turning on (1-24 hours).
- Auto-Off: If the unit is on, set the timer for how long you want it to run before turning off (1-24 hours).
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures efficient operation and prolongs the life of your air conditioner.
Air Filter Cleaning:

- The unit features a removable and reusable mesh air filter.
- It is strongly recommended to clean the air filter once a week to maintain proper machine function and air quality.
- To clean, simply slide out the filter, rinse it under running water, and allow it to dry completely before reinserting.
Water Drainage:
- The unit has an internal water tank that collects condensate. An indicator light on the control panel will illuminate when the tank is full.
- To drain, locate the manual drain plug at the bottom rear of the unit. Remove the plug and allow water to drain into a suitable container.
- For continuous drainage, attach the provided drainage hose to the drain port and ensure it leads to a floor drain or large bucket.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your unit, refer to the following common solutions:
- Unit Not Turning On: Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a grounded 115V/15A outlet. Ensure the outlet is functional.
- Insufficient Cooling:
- Verify that the air filter is clean.
- Ensure the exhaust hose is properly installed and not kinked or blocked.
- Check that windows and doors in the room are closed to prevent warm air from entering.
- Confirm the room size is within the recommended cooling area (up to 350-450 sq.ft.).
- Water Full Indicator On: The internal water tank is full. Drain the water manually or set up continuous drainage.
- Unusual Noise: Ensure the unit is on a level surface and not vibrating against any objects.
