7. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your bathroom vanity.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Cabinet doors are misaligned or do not close properly. | Loose hinges or improper hinge adjustment. | Tighten hinge screws. Adjust hinge settings as per the hinge manufacturer's instructions (usually small screws on the hinge allow for vertical, horizontal, and depth adjustments). |
| Sink is wobbly or not level. | Improper placement on the cabinet or uneven flooring. | Ensure the cabinet is level before placing the sink. Re-seat the sink, ensuring it aligns correctly with the cabinet top. Use shims under the cabinet feet if the floor is uneven. |
| Water leakage around the drain or faucet. | Improper installation of plumbing fixtures (faucet, drain). | Check all plumbing connections for tightness. Ensure plumber's putty or silicone sealant was used correctly during faucet and drain installation. Consult a professional plumber if necessary. |
