Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when installing and operating this appliance to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and personal injury.
- Ensure the power is turned off at the circuit breaker before installation or servicing.
- All wiring must be in accordance with national and local electrical codes.
- The fan must be mounted to a ceiling joist or a suitable support structure capable of supporting the fan's weight (16 pounds).
- Do not operate the fan with damaged blades or housing.
- This fan is UL & cUL Damp Location Listed, suitable for covered outdoor areas.

Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your ceiling fan. It is recommended to have two people for installation.
1. Prepare the Mounting Location
- Turn off power at the main circuit breaker.
- Ensure the ceiling junction box is securely fastened to a building structure and can support the fan's weight.
- For sloped ceilings, the fan can be installed on slopes up to 32 degrees. A separate slope ceiling kit (SKU # SC-FINISH) is available for slopes between 32-45 degrees.

2. Assemble the Fan
- Attach the fan blades to the motor housing according to the included diagrams.
- Secure the downrod to the fan motor assembly.
3. Wiring and Mounting
- Carefully lift the fan assembly and connect the electrical wires from the fan to the junction box wiring. Follow standard wiring color codes (black to black, white to white, ground to ground).
- The AC motor allows for integration with third-party ceiling fan controls or on/off switches. You can wire the fan motor and light kit on separate switches for dual wall control.
- Mount the fan canopy to the ceiling bracket, ensuring all screws are tightened securely.

Operating Instructions
Your Quade ceiling fan is controlled by pull chains for both fan speed and light operation.
Fan Speed Control
- Locate the pull chain for fan speed (typically the longer chain or indicated by a fan icon).
- Pull the chain once to turn the fan ON at HIGH speed.
- Pull again for MEDIUM speed.
- Pull again for LOW speed.
- Pull a fourth time to turn the fan OFF.
LED Light Kit Operation
- Locate the pull chain for the light (typically the shorter chain or indicated by a light bulb icon).
- Pull the chain once to turn the light ON.
- Pull again to turn the light OFF.
Adjusting Color Temperature (CCT)
The integrated LED light kit features 4-CCT selectable options:
- 2700K (Warm White)
- 3000K (Soft White)
- 4000K (Cool White)
- 5000K (Daylight)
To change the CCT, locate the small switch on the light kit housing (often near the light cover). Toggle this switch to cycle through the available color temperatures until your desired setting is reached.

Memory Function
The fan and light kit include an integral memory feature. If connected to a plain on/off wall switch (sold separately), the fan and light will return to their last known setting when the wall switch is toggled back on.
Reversible Airflow (Summer/Winter Mode)
Most ceiling fans have a switch on the motor housing to reverse the blade direction. This allows for optimal air circulation in both warm and cool seasons.
- Summer Mode: Blades rotate counter-clockwise, pushing air downwards to create a cooling breeze.
- Winter Mode: Blades rotate clockwise, drawing air upwards to circulate warm air trapped near the ceiling.
To change the direction, ensure the fan is OFF and completely stopped. Locate the small slide switch on the motor housing and move it to the opposite position. Turn the fan back on to verify the new direction.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ceiling fan.
- Cleaning: To prevent damage to the finish, clean the fan with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Blade Balance: Every fan is factory-balanced and sound tested. If wobbling occurs, ensure all blade screws and mounting hardware are tight.
- Light Kit: The LED luminaire is replaceable. Contact WAC Lighting customer support for replacement parts if needed.
- Lubrication: The fan motor is permanently lubricated and does not require oiling.
Troubleshooting
Before contacting customer support, review the following common issues and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Fan does not start | No power to the fan; Loose wire connections; Blown fuse/tripped circuit breaker. | Check power supply; Verify all wire connections are secure; Reset circuit breaker or replace fuse. |
| Fan wobbles | Loose blade screws; Improperly balanced blades; Loose mounting bracket. | Tighten all blade screws; Ensure blades are installed correctly; Verify mounting bracket is secure. |
| Light does not work | Loose wire connection to light kit; Faulty LED luminaire. | Check light kit wiring; Contact customer support for LED replacement. |
| Fan is noisy | Loose screws; Motor hum (normal for AC motors); Fan not properly seated. | Check all screws; Ensure fan is securely mounted and balanced. |
