1. Introduction

The Withings BPM Vision is an advanced smart blood pressure monitor designed for accurate measurement of systolic and diastolic blood pressure, heart rate, and detection of atrial fibrillation (AFib) through an integrated ECG. This device provides medical-grade precision and seamless data synchronization with the Withings app via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, compatible with both iOS and Android devices. 3. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions before using the device. This device is a CE certified medical device. 4. Setup

  1. Charge the Device: Although the device has a 1-year battery life, it comes with a charger. Ensure the device is fully charged before first use.
  2. Download the Withings App: Download the 'Withings' app from the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android). Create an account or log in if you already have one.
  3. Pair the Device: Follow the on-screen instructions in the Withings app to pair your BPM Vision via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. This will enable automatic synchronization of your readings.
  4. Cuff Placement:
    • Sit comfortably with your feet flat on the floor, back supported, and arm resting on a table.
    • Slide the cuff onto your bare upper left arm, ensuring the tube is centered on the inside of your arm and pointing towards your hand.
    • The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 2-3 cm (0.8-1.2 inches) above your elbow.
    • Tighten the cuff so it is snug but not uncomfortably tight. The standard cuff fits arm circumferences from 22-42 cm.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Taking a Blood Pressure Measurement

  1. Ensure the cuff is correctly placed on your arm (refer to Section 4.4).
  2. Sit still and relax for at least 5 minutes before taking a measurement. Avoid talking or moving during the measurement.
  3. Press the 'ON/OFF' button on the device to start a measurement. The integrated tutorials on the 2.8" LCD display will guide you.
  4. The device will automatically inflate the cuff and take the reading. It performs three consecutive measurements for accuracy, as recommended by medical professionals (TripleTrust technology).
  5. Once complete, your systolic and diastolic blood pressure, along with your heart rate, will be displayed on the screen. Color-coded feedback will indicate how your results compare to official hypertension levels.
  6. The results will automatically synchronize with your Withings app via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.

5.2 ECG Measurement for Atrial Fibrillation Detection

The BPM Vision can also perform a 30-second ECG to detect atrial fibrillation (AFib).

  1. After placing the cuff and starting a measurement, the device will prompt you for an ECG.
  2. Place your fingers on the electrodes located on the device's main unit as instructed by the on-screen tutorial.
  3. Remain still for 30 seconds while the ECG is recorded.
  4. The results, including any detection of AFib, will be displayed and synchronized with your app.

5.3 Understanding Your Results

The device's 2.8" LCD display provides clear results and color-coded feedback based on official hypertension levels. The Withings app offers advanced analysis and trend tracking.

5.4 Data Synchronization and Sharing

All your measurements are automatically synchronized to the Withings app. The app allows for unlimited data storage for up to 8 users. You can easily track your health trends over time and share your data with your doctor or loved ones.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the device and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the device in water.
  • Storage: Store the BPM Vision in its protective case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The protective case also functions as a stand for convenient use.
  • Battery: The device features a 1-year battery life. Recharge as needed using the provided charger.

7. Troubleshooting
