7.2 Cleaning and Lubrication

Periodically clean the staple gun with a dry cloth to remove dust and debris. A light application of machine oil to moving parts can help maintain smooth operation. Do not over-lubricate.

7.3 Storage

Always lock the handle in the down position and unload any remaining staples before storing the tool. Store the staple gun in a dry, safe place, away from moisture and extreme temperatures, and out of reach of children.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Staples not firing: Check if the magazine is loaded correctly and if the pusher rod is fully engaged. Ensure the handle is fully squeezed.
  • Staples bending or not fully penetrating: Verify that you are using the correct staple type and size (Type 53 or Type 13, 4-8mm) for your material. Apply firm, even pressure to the staple gun. The material might be too hard for the staple length.
  • Staple jams: Refer to section 7.1 for instructions on clearing jams.
  • Handle difficult to squeeze: Ensure the tool is clean and lubricated. If the issue persists, the material might be too dense.
