1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read all instructions carefully before operating the MORENTO MR4866 Air Purifier and retain this manual for future reference. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Always unplug the air purifier before moving, cleaning, or performing any maintenance.
  • Do not operate the unit with a damaged power cord or plug. If the cord or plug is damaged, contact customer support.
  • Keep the air purifier away from water or damp environments. Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Ensure that the air inlets and outlets are not blocked. Maintain at least 15 cm (6 inches) clearance from walls and other objects.
  • Use only with the specified voltage (AC power source).
  • Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into the air inlets or outlets.
  • Do not use the air purifier in areas where flammable gases or vapors are present.

2. Product Overview

3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

  1. Carefully remove the air purifier from its packaging.
  2. Remove all plastic bags and protective materials.

3.2 Filter Installation

The HEPA filter may come pre-installed but wrapped in protective plastic. Ensure this plastic is removed before first use.

  1. Turn the air purifier upside down.
  2. Twist the base cover counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
  3. Carefully remove the filter from the unit. If it's new, remove any plastic packaging from the filter.
  4. Insert the filter back into the unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  5. Replace the base cover and twist clockwise to lock it securely.

3.3 Placement

  • Place the air purifier on a firm, level, and stable surface.
  • For optimal performance, place the unit in the center of the room or an area with good air circulation.
  • Avoid placing it directly against walls or furniture that might obstruct air intake or output.

3.4 Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard AC electrical outlet. The unit will enter standby mode.

4. Operating Instructions

The MORENTO MR4866 features a touch control panel for easy operation.

4.1 Power On/Off

  • Touch the Power Button (symbol: ●) once to turn the unit on. It will start in Auto mode or the last used setting.
  • Touch the Power Button again to turn the unit off.

4.2 Fan Speed / Mode Selection

  • Touch the Mode Button (symbol: fan icon or 'M') to cycle through available modes:
    • Auto Mode: The purifier automatically adjusts fan speed based on real-time air quality detected by the PM2.5 sensor.
    • Sleep Mode: Operates at the lowest fan speed with reduced light intensity for quiet operation during sleep.
    • Manual Fan Speeds: Select from Low, Medium, or High fan speeds for continuous operation.

4.3 Child Lock Function

  • To activate the Child Lock, press and hold the Child Lock Button (symbol: lock icon) for 3 seconds. The lock indicator will illuminate.
  • Once activated, other buttons will not respond to touch.
  • To deactivate, press and hold the Child Lock Button again for 3 seconds. The lock indicator will turn off.

4.4 Air Quality Indicator

The LED indicator on the control panel changes color to reflect the current air quality:

  • Green: Excellent Air Quality
  • Yellow: Moderate Air Quality
  • Red: Poor Air Quality

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air purifier.

5.1 Filter Replacement

The filter life depends on air quality and usage. The filter replacement indicator light will illuminate when it's time to replace the filter (typically every 3-6 months).

  1. Unplug the air purifier from the power outlet.
  2. Turn the unit upside down and remove the base cover as described in Section 3.2.
  3. Remove the old filter and dispose of it properly.
  4. Insert a new MORENTO MR4866 replacement filter, ensuring it is correctly oriented.
  5. Replace the base cover and lock it.
  6. Plug in the air purifier. To reset the filter life indicator, press and hold the Filter Reset Button (often combined with another button, refer to control panel diagram if available) for 3-5 seconds until the indicator light turns off.

5.2 Cleaning the Exterior

  • Wipe the exterior of the air purifier with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents, as these may damage the surface.
  • Ensure no water or liquid enters the unit.

5.3 Cleaning the Air Quality Sensor

  • Locate the air quality sensor cover (usually a small opening on the side or back of the unit).
  • Gently wipe the sensor lens with a clean, dry cotton swab or soft brush to remove any dust accumulation.
  • Perform this cleaning monthly or if the air quality readings appear inaccurate.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your air purifier, please refer to the following troubleshooting guide:
