4. Mark the screw hole locations on the cabinet. Choose appropriate screw lengths (wood screws or anchor screws) based on cabinet thickness. Self-drilling plastic drywall anchors are suitable for concrete walls; if the mounting wall is wooden, these are not necessary.
5. Drive screws into the cabinet at the marked positions, leaving a small gap for the range hood to hang.
6. Carefully lift the range hood and align the keyholes on the back of the unit with the screws in the cabinet. Slide the range hood into place.
