1. Introduction

3. Assembly and Setup

The LANKELEISI MG600 Lite comes partially assembled. Follow these steps carefully to complete the assembly. It is recommended to have a second person assist during certain steps.

3.1. Handlebar Installation

1. Carefully remove the bike from its packaging.
2. Loosen the stem bolts on the front of the bike.
3. Insert the handlebar stem into the fork steerer tube, ensuring it is aligned with the front wheel.
4. Tighten the stem bolts securely using the provided tool kit.

3.2. Front Wheel Installation

1. Orient the front wheel so the disc brake rotor aligns with the brake caliper.
2. Insert the wheel axle into the fork dropouts.
3. Secure the wheel using the quick-release skewer or axle nuts, ensuring it is centered and tight.
4. Check that the brake rotor does not rub against the brake pads. Adjust if necessary.

3.3. Pedal Installation

Important: Pedals are marked 'L' for Left and 'R' for Right. The left pedal has a reverse thread.

1. Apply a small amount of grease to the pedal threads.
2. Screw the 'R' pedal into the right crank arm (clockwise).
3. Screw the 'L' pedal into the left crank arm (counter-clockwise).
4. Tighten both pedals firmly with a wrench.

3.4. Seat Post and Saddle Adjustment

1. Insert the seat post into the frame's seat tube.
2. Adjust the saddle height to a comfortable riding position (your feet should touch the ground with toes when seated).
3. Secure the seat post with the quick-release lever or bolt. Ensure the minimum insertion mark on the seat post is not visible.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Powering On/Off

1. To power on the bike, press and hold the power button on the LCD display for 3 seconds.
2. To power off, press and hold the power button again for 3 seconds.

5.2. LCD Display Functions

The LCD display provides real-time information about your ride.

• Speed: Current riding speed.
• Battery Level: Indicates remaining battery charge.
• Assist Mode: Shows the current pedal assist level (0-5).
• Odometer/Trip: Displays total distance or current trip distance.

5.3. Pedal Assist Levels

• Level 0: No motor assistance (pure pedal power).

5.5. Gear Shifting

The 8-speed gear system allows you to adjust your pedaling effort to different terrains. Use the shifter on the right handlebar to change gears. Shift to lower gears for climbing hills and higher gears for flat terrain or downhill riding.

5.6. Braking

The hydraulic disc brakes provide strong and consistent stopping power. Use both brake levers simultaneously for optimal braking performance. The left lever typically controls the front brake, and the right lever controls the rear brake. Practice braking in a safe area to get accustomed to their feel.

• Do not expose the battery to water or moisture.
