Setup & Installation
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment, typically on the underside of the lid or a designated area.
- Insert the required batteries (2 x AA batteries, not included) according to the polarity markings (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment securely.
2. Trash Bag Installation

- Remove the lid and take out the garbage bag fixing ring.
- Place a garbage bag into the garbage bag fixing ring and secure it.
- Put the fixing ring with the bag into the four slender support strips inside the bucket.
- Cover the lid securely.
Operating Instructions
Motion Sensor Activation
- To open the lid, simply wave your hand approximately 6-10 inches above the motion sensor located on the front of the lid. The lid will open in 0.3 seconds.
- The lid will automatically close after 5 seconds of inactivity.
- If you need the lid to stay open longer, keep your hand or an object within the sensor's range. The lid will remain open until the sensor no longer detects an object.
Manual Operation
- In case of battery depletion or if you prefer manual operation, the lid can be gently lifted by hand.
- Ensure the lid is properly aligned when closing manually to maintain the odor seal.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Due to its IPX5 waterproof construction, the exterior of the trash can can be easily wiped clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent.
- Avoid submerging the entire unit in water.
- For the interior, remove the trash bag and fixing ring, then wipe down the inside with a damp cloth. Ensure it is dry before reinserting the bag.
Battery Replacement
- When the sensor light indicates low battery (e.g., a red light or inconsistent operation), replace the batteries promptly.
- Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the Setup section.
