1.3 Electrical Connection

2. Operating Instructions

2.1 Control Panel Overview

The hob features a sensitive touch control panel for easy operation. The main controls include power on/off, power level adjustment, timer settings, and a child safety lock.

2.2 Powering On and Adjusting Heat

  1. Touch the Power On/Off button () to activate the hob.
  2. Place suitable cookware on the desired cooking zone. The hob features automatic pot recognition.
  3. Select the cooking zone by touching its corresponding control.
  4. Adjust the power level using the "+/-" buttons. There are 9 power levels available.
  5. The display will show the selected power level.

2.4 Timer Function

The integrated timer can be set for up to 99 minutes. To use the timer:

  1. Select the desired cooking zone.
  2. Touch the Timer button.
  3. Use the "+/-" buttons to set the desired cooking time.
  4. The cooking zone will automatically switch off once the timer expires.

2.5 Safety Features

  • Child Safety Lock: Activates to prevent accidental operation. To activate/deactivate, press and hold the lock button for a few seconds.
  • Overheat Protection: The hob will automatically shut down if it detects excessive temperatures.
  • Residual Heat Indicator: A "H" will appear on the display when a cooking zone is still hot after use, even if turned off.
  • Automatic Shut-off: The hob will automatically turn off after a period of inactivity or if a pot is removed.
