To use 3D facial recognition, stand directly in front of the lock at an appropriate distance. The lock will scan your face and unlock if a registered face is detected. Refer to the setup guide for registering facial data.

4.1.2 Fingerprint Unlock

Figure 4.1.3: Fingerprint Recognition. This image highlights the fingerprint recognition feature of the XSDTS GL02 lock, showing a finger placed on the sensor with a visual representation of the scanning process. It also notes a 99.9% single recognition success rate, resistance to wear for over 1 million uses, and a rapid recognition speed of less than 0.5 seconds.

Place your registered finger firmly on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock upon successful verification (typically less than 0.5 seconds). Ensure your finger is clean and dry for optimal performance.

4.1.3 Password Unlock

Enter your registered password on the keypad, followed by the '#' key. The lock supports anti-peeping password entry, allowing you to enter random digits before or after your actual password to prevent others from guessing it.

4.1.4 IC Card Unlock

  • Remotely unlock the door from anywhere.
  • Generate temporary passwords for guests or service providers.
  • Manage user access (add/delete fingerprints, cards, passwords).
  • Receive notifications when the doorbell is pressed, allowing remote unlocking.

4.1.6 Remote Control (Optional)

If your package includes a remote control, ensure it is paired with the lock. Press the unlock button on the remote control to open the door. This method is suitable for specific door configurations as shown in Figure 3.1.1.

4.1.7 Mechanical Key

In case of emergency or battery depletion, the mechanical key can be used to unlock the door. Insert the key into the keyhole (usually located at the bottom of the lock) and turn to unlock.

4.2 User Management

Refer to the detailed programming guide for adding, modifying, or deleting users (fingerprints, passwords, IC cards, facial data) via the lock's interface or the Tuya app.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your XSDTS GL02 lock.

  • Cleaning: Wipe the lock's surface with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals that may damage the finish or electronic components.
  • Fingerprint Sensor: Keep the fingerprint sensor clean and free of dirt or moisture. Use a soft, lint-free cloth to gently wipe it.
  • Battery: The lock is powered by a 2600mAh lithium battery. Monitor the battery level indicator on the display. Recharge or replace the battery when it is low to avoid being locked out.
  • Environmental Conditions: While designed for a wide temperature range (-25°C to 65°C), avoid exposing the lock to extreme moisture or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
