3. Setup

3.1 Battery Installation

Car Battery: The RC car uses a 3.7V 500MAH Lithium-Ion battery. One battery is typically pre-installed. To access the battery compartment, use the included screwdriver to open the battery cover on the underside of the car. Connect the battery to the car's power connector and place it securely in the compartment. Close the cover.

Remote Control Batteries: The remote control requires 2 AA batteries (not included). Open the battery compartment on the back of the remote control, insert the batteries according to the polarity markings, and close the cover.

3.2 Charging the Car Battery

Connect the 3.7V 500MAH Lithium-Ion battery to the included USB charging cable. Plug the USB cable into a standard USB power adapter (e.g., phone charger, computer USB port). The indicator light on the USB cable will show the charging status. Ensure the battery is fully charged before first use for optimal performance.

3.3 Tire Installation

The car comes with drifting tires installed and a set of racing tires for different terrains. To change tires, carefully pull off the existing tires from the wheel hubs. Align the new tires with the hubs and push them firmly into place. Ensure all four tires are securely attached.

  • Power Switch: Turns the remote control on/off.
  • Power Indicator: Displays the remote control's power status.
  • Steering Wheel: Controls the car's left and right steering.
  • Forward/Backward Trigger: Pull to move forward, push to move backward. This is a full proportional throttle, allowing for variable speed control.
  • Speed Switching Button: Toggles between high and low-speed modes. Suitable for beginners to start with low speed.
  • Light Switch: Turns the car's headlights and taillights on/off.

4.2 Pairing the Remote Control and Car

  1. Ensure both the car and remote control have fresh or fully charged batteries.
  2. Turn on the RC car's power switch.
  3. Turn on the remote control's power switch.
  4. The remote control and car should automatically pair. If not, turn both off and repeat the steps.

4.3 Driving and Drifting

The 4WD system and full proportional throttle allow for stable driving and precise drifting. Practice controlling the steering and throttle simultaneously to execute drifting stunts such as tail flipping and spinning. Use the included barricade accessories to set up courses for practice or competition.

5. Maintenance

5.1 General Care

  • Keep the car clean by wiping it with a soft, dry cloth after use.
  • Avoid operating the car in dusty, sandy, or wet conditions to prevent damage to internal components.
  • Regularly check the axles for any tangled debris, such as pet hair, which can affect performance.
  • Store the car and remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

5.2 Battery Care

  • Always fully charge the car batteries before use.
  • Do not overcharge or completely discharge the batteries.
  • Remove batteries from the car and remote control if storing for extended periods.
  • Dispose of old batteries responsibly according to local regulations.

6. Troubleshooting

  • Car not responding: Ensure both the car and remote control are powered on and batteries are fully charged. Re-pair the remote control and car if necessary. Check for any obstructions or damage to the car's power switch.
  • Short battery life: Ensure batteries are fully charged before each use. Battery performance can decrease over time; consider replacing old batteries. Operating in high-speed mode or continuously performing stunts may consume battery faster.
  • Car not drifting effectively: Ensure the correct drifting tires are installed. Drifting performance is best on smooth, hard surfaces.
  • Loss of control or erratic movement: Check for interference from other RC devices or strong electromagnetic fields. Ensure the remote control batteries are not low.
