2. Safety Information
- Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the device to strong impacts.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the device yourself. This will void the warranty.
- Use only the provided USB cable for charging.

3. Product Overview
The GN-408 MP3/MP4 Player features a compact design with a 1.8-inch LCD screen and intuitive button controls. It includes a built-in speaker and supports Micro SD cards for expanded storage.

3.1. Controls and Ports

- Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off. Short press to lock/unlock screen.
- M Button: Menu/Back button.
- Play/Pause Button: Start/pause playback, confirm selection.
- Previous/Next Buttons: Navigate menus, skip tracks.
- VOL Button: Adjust volume.
- Micro SD Card Slot: For external memory (up to 64GB, not included).

4. Setup
4.1. Charging the Device
- Connect the provided USB cable to the player's USB port.
- Connect the other end of the USB cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
- The battery icon on the screen will indicate charging status. A full charge takes approximately 2 hours.
Note: Ensure the device is fully charged before first use for optimal battery performance.
4.2. Inserting a Micro SD Card
The GN-408 player does not have internal memory. A Micro SD card (up to 64GB, not included) is required to store and play media files.
- Locate the Micro SD card slot on the side of the player.
- Gently insert the Micro SD card into the slot with the gold contacts facing down until it clicks into place.
- To remove, gently push the card in again until it springs out.
4.3. Transferring Files
- Connect the player to your computer using the USB cable.
- The player will appear as a removable disk on your computer.
- Drag and drop your music, video, image, or e-book files into the appropriate folders on the Micro SD card.
- Safely eject the removable disk from your computer before disconnecting the USB cable.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1. Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button until the screen lights up.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the "Power Off" option appears, then select it.
- Screen Lock/Unlock: Short press the Power button to lock or unlock the screen during operation.
5.2. Basic Navigation
- Use the Previous/Next buttons to navigate through menu options.
- Press the Play/Pause button to select an option or confirm an action.
- Press the M button to go back to the previous menu or exit a function.
5.3. Music Playback
- From the main menu, select "Music".
- Browse your music files by artist, album, or folder.
- Select a song and press the Play/Pause button to start playback.
- Use Previous/Next buttons to skip tracks.
- Use the VOL button to adjust the volume.
- Supported audio formats: MP3, WMA, APE, WAV, FLAC.
5.4. Video Playback
- From the main menu, select "Video".
- Browse and select your video file.
- Press the Play/Pause button to start playback.
5.5. FM Radio
To use the FM Radio, you must connect wired headphones (P2 jack) as they act as the antenna.
- Connect wired headphones to the 3.5mm jack.
- From the main menu, select "Radio".
- Use the menu options to auto-scan for stations or manually tune.
5.6. Voice Recording
- From the main menu, select "Sound Recording".
- Press the Play/Pause button to start recording.
- Press it again to pause/stop recording.
- Recordings are saved to the Micro SD card.
5.7. E-book Reader
- From the main menu, select "E-book".
- The player supports TXT format e-books.
- Browse and select your TXT file to read.
5.8. Image Viewer
- From the main menu, select "Picture".
- The player supports JPG/GIF image formats.
- Browse and select your image file to view.
5.9. Bluetooth Connectivity
IMPORTANT: The Bluetooth function on this player is designed to connect to Bluetooth headphones or Bluetooth speakers ONLY. It DOES NOT connect to mobile phones, computers, car radios, or other similar devices.
- From the main menu, navigate to "Setup" or "Bluetooth" (if available as a direct icon).
- Turn on Bluetooth.
- Ensure your Bluetooth headphones or speaker are in pairing mode.
- Select "Search Device" on the player.
- Choose your device from the list to pair.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods.
7. Troubleshooting
